by surendra tripathi on Jan 06, 2016 07:41 PM

Dear Sir, it is not the responsibility of forces alone, in fact the machinery in O
India is not in allignment. They have becomehabitual oflingering on everything, as it was in this case also despite alert by IB and others. State govts. are dilly delliying over such allerts, it has been seen in many cases. It is need of time that they should think at the national level not only at the state level.

Terror At Pathankot
by surendran nair on Jan 06, 2016 05:42 PM

Lieutenant General Dr D B Shekatkar (retd), PVSM, AVSM, AVSM's words are an eye opener. He is a very experienced, intellectual, and a true warrior of mother India. He has correctly said even in last 50 years we are not learned the lesson. Even after every action /attack we talk so much on this for a week or so then forget. Media will also expose as a sensational news for some time. When they feel, it is enough, they will go for another. They are limited to their circulation. They won't bothered to envisage the remedial action taken by the government. If government is not acting,it should be brought in front of the citizen. Politician does not have the time to look into these aspects. They will try to raise their vote bank even with these sensitive issues. As he said 50 years is not a short period for the governments to take call.Who bothers?.Even the internal disturbances are also the creation of politics. Why we are loosing so many soldiers in Jammu& kashmir? How many hard core groups are mushrooming internally? Who create them? For a small time political gain and capturing the power they give importance only to vote banks. A Peaceful punjab, Assam like states are the victims as all of us know. How many patriotic politician are there now? Most of them in politics are for raising their wealth and if beyond certain limits they go for swiss bank like institution. The need to accommodate service chiefs whenever the dialogues about the Nation's security is a word of true War

Will these so called experts shut their mouth. Simply giving statements in the media is only a propagating stunt. This is harming the National interest rather than benefiting. If they have any conclusive strategies let them share with the Government, let them not act as fools. By giving these kind of statements, they are encouraging the Terrorists rather than motivating our forces. Let these experts stop giving statement and analysing the issue in public, rather give their point of view to government.

Absolutely true! This is not the place for showing our prowess on military skills. The main intention is to somehow show the present government in bad light.

Attack
by arungopal agarwal on Jan 06, 2016 05:10 PM

No doubt it is an attack on our sovereignty but we are facing daily internal attacks by Separatists, naxals, hard core corrupt politicians/govt. servants. Treatment to such internal enemies should also be equal to foreign attack.

India is a peace loving country!

India is a peace loving country!
So much so, that if somebody slaps us and hurts our dignity, we offer ourselves for another slap because we have no dignity!
And it is a world known fact now it. So people in the world would be betting on it that India will not react to this attack as usual.
On the other hand, such an attack on a hot blooded country like USA, Russia, Pakistan would have seen immediate consequences
Russia threatened war on Turkey after it shot down its plane
USA brought the whole Afghanistan to dust when it was attacked
Pakistan slaughtered hundreds of Afghans at its border for launching violence against it
But the great India cannot slaughter hundreds of Pakistanis at its border for launching violence against it
Why?
Because we are a peace loving country afterall, how can we react!
Its high time that we change this weak image of ours and learn to live with dignity
