all whosoever he may be right from pm,PRESIDENT down to ordinary citizens must get out of vehicles before 100 meters or so and walk through security gate all should be identified and not identified should be shot or arrested
I am sorry to say that I disagree with the article as I too had high notions about this man unless I saw this mess up or rather gross mess up ,possibly unprecedented. 1. The intelligence inputs were well in advance yet terrorists made their way 2. 9 soldiers lost lives against 6 of infiltrators tells the horrible story of the failure at strategic and operational levels 3. Kidnapping of SP which has link with all this was also notified and puts whole episode in suspicion 4. Paramilitary forces used to defend armed forces fortress!! 5. No check points/screening at night in a sensitive area like this!! 6. No clear line of communication or command visible 7. Communication mishaps even at highest levels
I am afraid,if corrective measures based on real root causes(instead of under the carpet policy)not taken,morale of our forces will be jeopardise as also further losses

Are you sure? I am not very familiar in matters of logistics but the Retd Group Capt shold offer his expert advice to the military.
