just a dalits are feeling discriminated 90 % of forward caste people also think that they are being discriminated on the basis of reservations... they stand no chance in current system ...their merit is useless and they have to migrate to other countries to survive.. here they will face insult and prejudice...this is the real india ...not the rosy picture portrayed by some pansy intellectuals

first remove reservations... all atrocities on dalits is mere imagination and concocted. they get reservations..many govt. servants are dalits and they have laws to protect them and sometimes even to indict innocent upper caste people.... dalits are resorting to jungle raj and coercion ...all forward caste people should stand together and not harp on these matters calling it logic, reason and magnanimity....time for lofty talk is over.

they talk of atrocities on their communities... which could be mere hoax....if they were really harassed we could not have lived together for thousands of years..

first british and now their puppets are creating these false stories of manu smriti and brainwashed many people ....

in todays world nobody is facing discrimination ... rohith vemula was also culpable in an attack on ABVP student..so it was purely disciplinary action against him ..if a dalit is indicted of some crime...he soon cries foul and says he is being discriminated...this has become standard modus operandi of these people ..so beware of such elements

Reservation is an illegitimate child of the dirty ploy of the politician. To divide and rule withe connivance of the unruly. The major reason of the absence of a silicon valley in Bharatvarsh. They migrated because they saw no future in their own motherland.

when tata wanted to set up plant in west bengal which would have created many jobs to youth there...these very communists created a violent agitation to disrupt the plan ... and they are talking about anarchy ? ...look at communist ruled states... their youth have to travel elsewhere for livelihood ..what a shame then students support such people...

You need to acquire more knowledge on facts before posting. If you are referring to TATA Nano factory the project was brought to the state by Mr. Buddhadeb Bhattacharya then Communist CM, and while it was on the verge of completion the same was driven away by Ms Mamata Banerjee\'s party Trinamool Congress through agitation of disgruntled farmers of Singur.
However the Nano factory at Sanand, Gujarat, is also shut due to labour unrest unfortunately.

want to know

guys here may not know about Mr yechuri ..listen up carefully. this so called doyen of free speech hails from AP. when we found natural gas reserves in krishna godavari basin govt. planned to call tenders to build refineries ...china bidded with lowest quotation. now they want 200-300 engineers for the project, which they wanted to bring from china itself. but as we want local employment govt, insisted on local recruitment. then china contacted mr yechuri and asked him to coerce the govt.

at that time left parties were supporting UPA and mr yechuri coerced the govt. into accepting chinese demands...

this man talks about free speech and democracy .. ..i mean its height of hypocrisy ..and if students support such people ..i say those students dont deserve any education ...shame on them

Just a few Questions to so called seculars
by anjaneya on Feb 25, 2016 07:15 PM  | Hide replies

1. Apparently Kanahiya is 28 yrs old. Even a Phd program or medicine gets done by 28 yrs. Wonder what course he is doing which is never ending (He is 32, that is a media projected lie as reported by people in JNU.)

2. Students coming from middle class families get down to working by 25 or latest by 28
yrs. This guy comes from such a poor background wonder how he can afford it.

3. Now he hires the country best lawyers to defend him, wonder who is footing the bill and why ?

4. Most of these so called students register is universities to avail subsides hostel stay & subsides canteen food. Why should our tax money be used for such students who occupy the hostel permanently that deserving students have to look for PG accommodations. Why the tax payer be burdened with tax for these politically ambitious students. Let the respective political party fund their fun
5. He went for a 3 months rally for Bihar election. Wonder what happens to class and attendance
6. Please realise these are not students. They are politicians in the making then let them fight it out. Why is India being punished by their rubbish news on TV & newspaper. Only for TRP. And NDTV is no different

7. All they want is to destabilise the growth story in vested political interest of the opposition.
8. They are not innocent students in any stretch of imagination. Nor are the genuine.
What business these students have in a place of learning, at a university to organize a rally in favor of a convic

Totally agree with your opinion . This people are more interested in politics than study and spend years in the University hostels enjoying subsidised accommodation and food. The same thing is with students at FTII many of them are of 2008 batch and yet to complete their course. And people like Rahul Gandhi jump to defend them without knowing the fact.

They must malign the only casteless institution in your country. You have seen the reaction of veterans, while those in uniform donot have right free speech as you have.

This leftists are totally useless people who has never done anything good for the country. They are known for their destructive attitude. Fortunately in India, no one care for them as they have some presence only in two state like West Bengal and Kerala only. Just see what they have done to West Bengal under their more than three decades of rule is known to everyone.

Mr Yechuri, one sees that people like you are using students to conspire against the country. You ran to defend JNU students instead of questioning their conduct to organize such an event. Who is then conspiring? By your bhashan you are trying to sidestep the real issue and mislead the whole debate. Shameful.

Yechuri, Kejri, Rahul has no work, have sufficient spare time to spread hate on individual issues. JNU is not even a part of Delhi, a single unit-administrative action is already in operation, but these people are wasting country time which is required for growth.
