Zee TV has rightly called these so called anti Indian champions of right to speech as Afzal guru supporters gang. It is fashion of these English speaking intellectuals to belittle the vast majority of this country through non-understandable jumlas. They will not utter a word on the boy being put to jail for praising Kohli in Pakistan but will cry hoarse for the anti nationals who thrive on the subsidized education in JNU. The first step of the Govt.. should be stop subsidizing JNU only then the true face of these parasites will come out. say any thing on the justify there to This nothihg but a ploy to destablize Modi and BJP Govt. which they are not able to digest. Rahul Gandhi should also admit openly that he supports plebisite in Kashmir. The better such gang leaves india and go to Pakistan, the better it will be for this country

Supporting an Anti-national is also a form of anti- national act. Our political parties like congress and CPI supports persons like Rohit Vemula who supports Yakub Menon and Kanhaiya Kumar who supports Afzal Guru and raise anti India slogans are also not less than Anti National

We have many in our country who wants to come to limelight with right or wrong pretext, whole episode indicates that Rahul/Kejri/Yechuri etc., are under employed-having time to raise such local administrative issues-but wasting public time and creating law and order situation is not acceptable norm. Are they patriot or anti national. Is parliament meant for such petty issues or for national issues of development and upliftment of common man.

Mehrotra's views

Highly impractical! Can the man be so peaceful and still happy writing poetry but for the fact that it's nationalists that are still protecting the country's freedom, whether it is of speech, or of human rights unlike so many other countries? Why does rediff have to unearth such old fogeys, affecting intellectual condescension, that are living in the bowels of earth happy in their ignorance claiming superiority over the so called ''common man'', who is actually sustaining this world!

Freedom of speech must be protected, Universities need more innovation in education. Totally agreed.

But the fact is most of the libertarian (intellectual farce) thoughts would resonate with Jihadists today. What intellectuals do in the world today is they are facilitating Jihadists to take over. If you watch carefully, they would NEVER criticize the oppression that is witnessed in the religion of the Jihadists. But do everything to demoralize everyone else so Jihadists can walk in, take over someday.

When the libertarians have to meet a Jihadist, you think they will be talking about freedom of expression?

Dangerous people undermining academic institutions, and the nation, out of sheer stupidity, something a Jihadist would want as the ground work.
Why cant these people speak against, or write a poem on the "shackles of Sharia". If they can't, then go for a protest and give interviews.

Will they ever do ?
