More clarity to the public
by Pinaki Pandit on Feb 15, 2016 11:19 PM

If what the Home Minister is saying is true then it is intriguing, because it speaks volumes of the shape of the world and events in days to come.

The loud terror events, many say the funding of art that is pro cross-religious marriages or anti-Guru ideas (because in India both on Sufi and Hindu side or for that matter Jain, Sikh or Buddhist side there is much respect for the Idea of Guru but purist form don't agree to it) such funding have been thought to be of petro-dollars.

But funding art cannot be taken to be wrong, at the same exposing phony Gurus also the same way.

But supposing it is true and there is a shift in Patro-funding.

Because Iran is a product of a revolution, and are generally thought to be in favour of the kind of things happening in JNU, Hyderabad an elsewhere.

So does it seem that Pak has shifted completely towards Iran-China side and moved away from the American side.

if it is true It is significant not because Pak is shifting but because it puts a question mark on ability of US in the Gulf, and in the ability to keep 70% of worlds wealth in Dollars.
Should we be expecting wild swings in the markets of the word is my worry.and how such sectarian composition effects the subcontinent.

I think the Home Minister should give more clarity to the public on the subject.

Family of the accused

Why bring in the comment of his family in the story?
Is it because of sob effect! Which mother does not think that his son is all fair an dhonest and in fact "the best in the world".

How one family destroyed indias fortunes.
by ashish tiwari on Feb 15, 2016 02:49 AM  | Hide replies

n 1947 Nehru gifted half of kashmir to pakistan and pakistan is sending terrorists daily as a return gift from POK camps.

Then Nehru gifted Tibet to china and the permanent membership of security council.. and china sent a return gift and beat him black and blue in 1962.

Then in 1971 zulfikar ali bhutto fooled Indira and ran away with 93000 POWs in return of hollow promise of peace.

Finally Rajeev was fooled by Srilankan president Jayawardhana and India sent its army to kill our own Tamil brothers across the sea.

Finally we had Sonia and Manmohan who looted 12 lakh crore in coal spectrum and games and looted widows of our myrtrs in adarsh scam.

Now this dynasty has produced Vadra and Rahul baba. Fromer is looting land while ther other is busy supporting terrorists and casteism in students to weaken this country.

One single dynasty has destroyed our chances ...we do not stand a chance against pakistan in the long run ..forget china

It is bad luck for the country that such people get undue importance and with only 43 mebers in a house of parliament, they stop the working of house continueously for two sessions and people silently watch helplessly without taking strict actions against such people who are kicked out of the power by the people of this country .

This is not a pathankot incident wherein outside terrorists are attacking. This is an incident where terrorists from inside country is playing the game and unfortunately when it failed they start playing the victim card as usual. Come out of your religion, think about your country and then speak or else keep speaking with no sense I definitely have no issues

Feel sorry for Kanahya
by Aftab on Feb 15, 2016 12:14 AM  | Hide replies

The common thread betwee Kanahya from JNU and Rohit vemulla is their aspiration and family background. Both do not fit well in the richhest political party of India. Vemula is no more and the Kanahya will have to pay a huge huge price all his life. Sedition charge should not be used like section 144.

Green-petticot why you cannot see beyond your nose? Its a great design to finish off PDP. Do you think the stone pelting terrorists will vote for PDP next time after its alliance with nationalist patriotic BJP?

Did you forget what happened to Abdullah after he joined NDA?

In debates on 3
by piri on Feb 14, 2016 11:07 PM  | Hide replies

Malayalam TV channels today, the BJP representatives were stumped and left stammering when confronted with the question that if their party really thought the very mention of Afzal Guru and the controversial nature of the judicial verdict awarding death to him amounted to being anti national, then why did the BJP enter into an alliance with the PDP in Kashmir, a party that stands firm even today in their demand that Gurus trial was a travesty of justice and that his remains should be brought to Kashmir !

When prompted repeatedly, each of the 3 BJP spokespersons (K.Surendran, George Kurian and T.G Mohandas) refused to utter a word on the BJP-PDP alliance and steadfastly kept trying to divert the discussion elsewhere !

Piri dont take it wrong but my suggestion is please eat some almonds daily so that your brain becomes a bit sharper... BJP has allied with PDP to make PDP weak so that it gets defeated in next elections.
