Use Technology to keep them safe
by ramon srivastava on Feb 14, 2016 03:09 AM  | Hide replies

In civilized countries, those who guard the nation from the high mountains are provided with all kinds of safety gadgets like Flare-guns, Safety balloons ( which get inflated in seconds, protecting the body from impact) ,Helium-filled small balloons which float above the ice to locate the buried soldiers ). If the present govt. is really bothered about such incidents, it would have provided such equipment to all soldiers there, to save their precious lives. What prevails in the pathetic Defence Ministry is sheer "baboo(n) thinking" . No ideas !!

larger normalisation
by Shafiq Sarwar on Feb 08, 2016 10:18 AM  | Hide replies

Dear Shekhar, do we have leaders in sub-continent to think and go for larger normalization unless some untoward befalls them. Our leaders are intelligent fire-fighters, playing in the hands of vested interests. Shafiq Ahmed , Kashmir.
