Justice

We may be boasting about our judicial system, may be most decent too, but common man does not have faith in it in India due to its very very high time taken rate. Also we find in a temple of justice, under the nose of judges-reader and Peshkar takes bribe.
Maximum leaves are taken by judges, they consider themselves different to common man and are away from ground reality of life. As such only look at legal truth not actual truth.

There are about 75 Lacs under trials languishing in jail since many years for the petty crimes like theft, pick pocketing, etc. Modi Govt should think of releasing them from the jail as keeping them in the jail is waste of public money and also, a big national waste. Those small time offenders can come out of jail and earn their own lively hood instead of becoming a burden. In return for compounding of their offenses, they should be asked to involve in a community service for a certain number of days. May be, cleaning of towns and cities under Swatch Bharath Abhit=yan. This will not only gives them a new lease of life, a better family life for the dependents, fruitful utilization of their manpower, some contribution to national GDP and a huge relie to already stressed judiciary, which can focus on huge number of pending court cases involving serious crimes.

It would be nice if those languishing in jails for petty crimes are released and high profile criminals who have been released recently are sent back to jail!
