You are doing a great disservice to the Indian Muslims by speaking such non-sense. I am presuming that"these people" you are referring to Muslims of India. You do not know them and you do not know the Indian Army and its culture and ethos. So stop writing bullshit.

Yes agree with Sumeer Sharma. Gen Syed Ata Hasnain has been a distinguished professional soldier who served the country faithfully while commander of 15 corps directly facing the enemy in Kashmir. His views on the Kashmir situaiton and insurengcy are very well balanced and professional. So Sudanshu Sharma is humbly requested not to caste aspirations on the loyalty of Gen Hasnain. It is dastardly and humililiating to a former soldier of the Indian Army
Does he actually require your suggestions and advise, at his age and experience. You have no experience about Army, so keep your advises and cautions to yourself and just shut up.
people of India are expecting to maintain peace and harmony at the LOC of Jammu and Kashmir very soon. He should draw such a plan that permanent solution at LOC should keep good vigil the activities of Pakistan and retaliate accordingly. They should not be given any scope to enter into the J AND K at any cost. Better to conduct another Surgical strike, then only Pakistan will be set all right. print this message.

No. I think Mr. Sunil Sharma has done what he could do i.e., read this report. Do you have any plans to execute after reading this report Mr. Chakravarti?. If all people do their duties honestly & sincerely, we don't even need to bother about 'Deshbhakti' itself. It is just a statement and not a back support, of course, I am not aware if Mr. Sunil Sharma does so.
He must get the corruption out of the Army : starting with butchery where elect meat goes to the seniors???Local Purchase another scandal of making money !!!!
Now that the matter is settled, better not to delve on differences and difficulties. As a disciplined army, they have to accept the decision, no bickering or resignations which are not the job of professionals. We are fighting a clandestine war with not only Pakistan but also Kashmiries on religion basis, with so called supporters like Abdulla Family turning out to be traitors, as suspected all the time, eating our pie. One has to be very cautious both within and outside.

If we are fighting a group because of its religion, we are doomed. We can only survive and prosper if people of all religions feel they are equals.
only from a perticular region persons become chief. They may be capable, but so are others. The promotions are tweaked fom Brigadier level. This is broken now.
A brilliant and balanced article. He went against the sentiments of the vast majority of the armed forces(incl myself),both serving and retired, and spoke his mind in a candid manner. In the process he also focussed on some vital issues which plague the armed forces today and need urgent attention
