No media, no journalists, no judiciary, except Mr. Ramanath Goinka of Indian Express and Mr. Patel of Mother India, had the courage to question and publish against Mrs. Indira Gandhi. Middle class people were happy and there was a comfortable Law and Order. Actually, a type of emergency is required now. There many traitors in guise of writers, intellectuals and politicians who misuse the liberty of expression.

Mr Atal Bihari Bajpaye compared Indira Gandhi to godess Durga,and he refused to visit Gujarat after the Riots there that is the unbiased opinion of a gerat stalwart,But now Mr Modi is in a hurry to wipe off the rich lagacy of Nehru and Indira Gandhi to bring forth his name with BJP trailing bleak behind.BJP thinks since they did not contribute in the Azadi ki Ladai the party can now rule the country by agravating fear psycosis among the masses and by making announcements too often to distract the attention from the failures of demonetisation like Indira did after nationalisation of the Banks and during imposition of emergency. To draw a parellal things may not be very easy for Mr Modi till he enforces a element of mutual respect at all lavellavel.
Modi should not be even thought of to be compared with Indiraji !!!. Modi to be compared with the worst ever PM Mr. V P singh. Indiraji snatched Bangladesh from Pakistan but MODI will gift J&K to Pakistan. His all Gujrati Policy for India will soon prove lethal for the Indians who are now suffering from Modimaniac.

So you looted and the nation and created a massive black economy, did not pay taxes, and the poor never got what they deserved out of the nation's pie. Emergency of 1975 cannot be compared with Modi's regim of hardly two years on many counts like no High Court put Modi in witness box (no verdict against Modi) , just finishes two years, emergency was forced within a couple of months after coming to Indiraji's power,Modi as leader is clean, etc. The article is biased and kept many things hiding why emergency was then thrust. The main difference is Modi is struggling with the united opposition parties, first time seen in Indian politics. why? The article is full of contradiction. Elite class, middle class and common man is supporting Modi without any trade off. It is not desirable to allege elite and middle class adopt trade off. Not an insult to these Indians? I avoid using words like patriots or nationalists as these terms are debatable in the Indian context!
Tax payers are confused to whom Modi is representing, only poor or tax payers, or businessmen or industry or govt. servants, or judicial system etc., No effort is made to control the population of unwanted poor in the country from 1950 onward including Modi, as such, votes are purchased, lured or befooled. We dis-card such vote bank politics, ignoring all other common citizen of the country, creating fear psychosis among masses.

Easy to say that, but implementation could not have been any better, considering the fact that every element of our institutions are corrupted by successive regimes since 1947. So you see bankers cheating, you see the security agencies that take new notes to ATMs diverting that money, and then the black money cash holders bribing the people holding Jan Dhan accounts, and then the master class of political parties of Mamta, Maya, Mulayam, Sonia looting the money by offering them discounted new notes or cheque in lieu of the old delegalized tender. So every part of the society is so corrupt, thanks to the loot and run, spit nonsense and run culture of the successive Khangress Govts since 1947. So this is a 1st step of the clean up - now at least the entire money in the system is coming into the banks. There will be follow thru steps to take this fight against black money to the next level. And it should be fought, for the nation's future is at stake. For the sake of our next generations !
Beating around the bush and not writting the real reasons behind the 1975 emergency imposed by Indira...(the Allahabad high court verdict against Indira). N Where is the link with Modi's demonetization anti corruption drive???
