Every one of us knows the history of Kohinoor Diamond. We also know what happened to the British Crown - Queen Elizabeth I who was wearing the diamond on her crown, now it is in her grave on / in the coffin. What happened to England during her reign is also known and written in history. I feel that time has come to produce another similar jewel and make history in India, instead of trying to bring back the Kohinoor Diamond and along with it all the omen.

I have not read the book but hope at least it will set the record straight on the origins of this diamond.
It was mined from the KOLLUR diamond mines in the present GUNTUR district of ANDHRA PRADESH.
The KOLLUR mine is the worlds first diamond mine and all the riches of the NIZAMS of Hyderabad were courtesy to this diamond mine along with the loot from the rulers of HAMPI (Krishna Devaraya's kingdom).

it was forced on 14 yr old prince. It is not gift.
It is better to be on the British crown than in India. We can still proudly say that our Diamond is on the British crown. If it is in India, it will soon become the property of robbers, who are everywhere in India--from Parliament to Brotthels visitors

In a book on Kohinoor, many theories about the diamond were discussed. One theory was that it was Shyamanthakamani, a gem which Lord Krishna had (forcibly) obtained from Jambavan, whose daughter Jambavathi he married.
