What about Discrimination in Degree, Designation and Marks - Every Student faces Criticism & gets Discriminated for Life on the basis of Degree, Designation and Marks (Percentage), Social Status, Economic condition, Good Looking Bad looking and other criterion ????
On one hand the author shows her contempt for 'hollow rituals' by upholding her 'understanding of faith', whatever that means to her. On the other hand she demands entry inside the inner sanctum of holy places of all religions where such 'hollow rituals' are conducted. Any discerning person would suspect her motives. And any intelligent person would recognise the sordid ideology of asking for rights without professing respect. While I too strongly oppose discrimination on the basis of gender or cast at places of worship; I feel that calling all rituals hollow just goes to show one's ignorance and or disrespect for a religion which may be reason enough to get debarred from the same hallowed portal of sanctity. One may do better to study different religions and develop some respect for them before trying to change the so-called regressive mindset of ladies who are unwilling to go to places of worship during their periods. Meanwhile, I shall harbour no grudge against any religion for denying entry to anyone outside the community's brotherhood or sisterhood.

Thank you for commenting. I disagree that any religion should deny entry to those outside the community. Also, entering a place of worship is a constitutional right, no matter what opinions a person may harbor about rituals. Glad you agree that there should not be caste or gender discrimination.
