since cleaning is high risk job, minimum wage should Rs. 5k per day or Rs. 1 laks per month. It will solve all problems as it will earn them respect and can use better tools to do the job.

Either you pay to use Toilet and spend money to construct your own. The argument is completely illogical.

This article about Dalit oppression is misleading in India. Ask any so called forward caste person who works in government offices with Dalits. Their arrogance is becoming too much to bear. You cannot pull them for a mistake, you cannot cancel their leaves, you cannot pull them up for non attendance. You can do that only if you are willing to risk a caste slur case on you. All it needs is a statement from the guy that you abused his caste. End of matter.

I cannot comment on what happened in the past but I can definitely see that the direction in which we are going is wrong. I also had an SC family forcefully occupying a piece of land that I purchased using my hard earned money. The family that occupied it refused to leave and the police too advised us to refrain from filing a case and forgetting the property. We still filed a case and after 12 years, there is still no relief for us. The accused has died and my blood boils whenever I remember this incident. Is there any relief for me. A BIG NO

The Problem here is India's Constitution Unfortunately got Designed by a Dalit, so he gave them Maximum Benefits & vented his anger against The Upper castes by marginalizing them without any recognition.

Now the problem is too complex to solve.

Sir, I wish to make a minor correction to your statement. Yes, the Constitution was drafted under the chairmanship of Dr. BR Ambedkar, and there were others, who were from different castes, etc. But subsequently, the Constitution was amended a few times to give teeth to the oppression of the upper castes by others. The upper caste people being divided remaining 'tolerant'.

Spoken like a true upper caste Hindu, who has no idea what some people have to go through to eat two square meals. Why don't you comment on the looting that some Indian merchants do on a daily basis?

There is no oppression or upsurge of Dalits in India. This article is false and misleading. Dalits don't pay to shit but earn when others pay to use the facility.
