India - a country

whose investments in public education and public healthcare are among the most pitiable in the entire world and compare badly even with basket cases such as Mali and Mauritania - offers help to bolster public education and healthcare in Vietnam !

The Indian private healthcare and education providers - as rapaciously or more corrupt as/than any other sector in India - has been allowed to have its way in steadily increasing measure over the past two decades of what ignorant and gullible Indian commoners think were economic reforms in their favour.

The Indian healthcare sector is crumbling fast for the great majority of its commoners as the govt gives in more and more to the private medical care providers. Similar is the case in the education sector too.

The contrast between democratic India and supposedly autocratic China in these two sectors - always pronounced - is becoming more and more glaring each passing year.

As a result of the two pronged change in the approach of the Indian and Chinese governments (the Indian govt steadily withdrawing from the health and education sectors and the Chinese govt steadily increasing its budgetary allocations both in absolute value as well as as a proportion of its national budget), the average Chinese now gets an investment that is 22 times in purchasing power value per capita in healthcare and 17 times in education compared to what the miserable average Indian commoner gets from the Indian govt !

Open your eyes dude....Modi cut the allocation for the public healthcare system by 20 % and that for the education sector by 15 % as soon as he came to power in 2014 !

Read any source you can find to verify this fact !

By leaving that much more healthcare and education for the commoners to the rapacious private sector, is Modi trying to reduce pilferage or increase it ?

The III World War
by AdinarayanaSastry Burra on Aug 31, 2016 06:28 AM

The III World War, if it happens, will be caused by China. The Chinese are unnecessarily aggressive, just to show that they are the best. No one can ever be the best, with the worst of intentions. How can a Nation of bonded slaves for citizens be the Leader of the World. That credit will always be with USA.

Very important words of a famous General - I think Montgomery - No point in attacking China, what have you got to win?

Modi the native
by K Bhaskaran on Aug 30, 2016 11:23 AM  | Hide replies

Surprisingly our PM has become truly an India with a couple of months remaining in the native country. Is it because the the countries he visited had shown displeasure but just accepted that they are welcoming an Indian PM. He has been deputing Rajnath Singh and Sushuma Swaraj, etc. on his behalf. Now he is going to Viet Nam a new place. Will he receive a hearty welcome?

Do refer history & see the visits of MMS, Pratibha Patil & Sonia in totality. In fact, Pratibha Patil has the record.Only difference now versus then is one person makes more visits. May be it is his constraint that his minsters are really busy?
