Rigid rules no humane face
by THANGAVELU on Aug 30, 2016 08:29 AM

These couples are expected to be together, particularly at this phase of life.
Emotional caring and sharing is the need of hour.
Otherwise what is humanity ?

I really do not understand

First you leave your grand parents in old care home and not in your house. Then go to old care home and take their photo and say saddest photo in my life...I really get laugh at this...simple solution, keep them in your home without separating them? Part of common sense? -:) Just for making things viral people do anything eh? -:) and some people on the board can't stop crying..I cannot stop laughing -:)

I don't agree. Sometimes the level of care that is required is simply not possible at home. Plus, it would be inordinately expensive, and in Canada Govt might not fund home care but stay in hospice/hospital might be free. All those castigating the granddaughter please stop for a moment to consider her plight!

I fail to understand the grand children taking the photograph and making it Viral instead of taking the grand parents home.

AntiSh1tular.... its a waste of time explaining anything to you, as you simply refuse to look outside of the well you live in.

Anyways, will try.

Just like Indian values have unique values like dowry, female infanticide and occasional dumping of parents on the sidewalks as the wife does not like to take care of them, the west has slightly evolved to house elderly people in care homes where they can get immediate medical attention without having to spend their last moments in a traffic jam because it rained for 5 minutes.

If this does not help, I don't know what will.

...To Me The Saddest Thing Is That These Elderly Couple Are Staying In A Care Home Instead Of With Their Children & Grandchildren & Maybe Great-Grandchildren.
