They must have visited undivided AP during Congress & TDP Rule. Prohibition was imposed in AP in 1994 or so when NTR was CM & Liquor was flowing into AP, in Truck loads from Maharashtra, Karnataka & Tamil Nadu. You only had to have right connection. One fellow gave me Ambassador dickie load of Liquor even without payment since he was going abroad (probably with same money) though I could not take it; I didnt have car. As regards Education, Nitish & Lallu must have seen PG Colleges in 3 BR Apartments, Degree Colleges in 2 BR Apts, Junior/Inter Colleges in 1 BR Apt. Primary Schools in Economically Weaker Section Single Room Houses. Permissions were given only on Paper, without any inspection, before or later. Recent EAMCET leakage in AP has been going on since decades, with Corporate Colleges' Association running Education Dept (literally) Teaching Faculty & Equipment of one Engineering College was shown to AICTE & the same was rotated in other Colleges, courtesy Joint Venture with AICTE Officials who came for Annual Inspection. AICTE Officials were also given Annual Bonus for favorable Inspection Report. On final Day of Inspection, in one College, there would be farewell dinner with liquor flowing lavishly. I have witnessed this myself personally. AICTE Officials must be equally cooperative in Maharashtra, TN & Karnataka, where there are Eng Colleges, in every Village; not Taluqas without proper Faculty. What if Bihar runs Colleges in Garages?

Just a few years ago , BJP was part of ruling coalition in Bihar. What you her now is not a new development. IT happended over several decades. What BJP is doing Bihar? So much to their agenda. One can contribute to development even as a opposition party.

Laloo will ruin and end Nitish's political career for ever.
by Ramendra Sinha on Aug 12, 2016 05:44 PM

Nitish ji is committing blunder after blunder and Laloo and his RJD are laughing behind his back.

The abrupt and hasty implementation of total prohibition followed by draconian laws to implement the same. Losing out on Rs.5000 Cr of direct annual revenue and not to mention the loss in indirect revenue due to decline in goods, services and hospitality sectors. Then trying desperate measures to make up the loss by levying additional taxes on commodities which we all know would not be able to suffice, ultimately pushing the state to the same period as it was during RJD rule - negetive GDP.

Laloo ji, his family and RJD stand to gain by collapse of economic growth and governance and Bihar as all blame will be put on Nitish ji and JDU. They will get to rule Bihar once again with full majority, control and authority.

Great ! These colleges are able to produce toppers.
by Ramendra Sinha on Aug 12, 2016 05:04 PM

So what if these colleges got affiliation without infrastructure. Its a great achievement that they are able to produce toppers.

While propagating for total prohibition at national level, Nitish ji should propagate this model of education in other states as well to fuel his ambition for PM candidate in 2019 General Elections.

The same is applicable to almost all the states over the country.
The data submitted about faculty and infra are fake.
These colleges are being run either by politicians or they have patronage.

CBSE is same as BSEB.
by manish mehra on Aug 12, 2016 04:34 PM

Even CBSE board also operates the same way as Bihar School Secondary Board only that is less reported due to it being considered much better in comparison.

There are so many private schools getting affiliations with bare minimal facilities for either teachers or students. There are well known schools showing class strength as 40-45 as per CBSE\'s norms but actually in reality have 80 students cramped up in the same class.

All kinds of irregularities are rampant with even out station school students shown as candidates of some different branch that was able to get affiliation.

It is difficult to believe that CBSE officials were not able to find these irregularities during affiliation process unless they were hand in gloves with these institutions and taken care of with corruption.

If they are running, at least good they are running. But fake degree racket is not acceptable norm.
All left leaning and legal minded States are far behind with the fruits of development.
Bihar and UP are under heavy grip of caste factor, Dalits, minorities own community appeasement is common, reflected in all type of working too. How the States can work without bias.

Education in Bihar

I have seen many states. But Bihar is the rotten state. I lived there for almost 22 years. There one can get Degree Certificate for a pinch of Khaini. An intelligent student will not pass out, because his answer paper get exchanged with a duffer.
