Anothe election-time engineered controversy. Never heard of gau rakshaks earlier and will fade away into media oblivion right after the election. Remember intolerance, award wapsi, beef controversies? Where are the award wapsi heores? Do they do anything real for upliftment of the sick, poor, needy? Nothing but write. Can the opposition parties not think of better strategies such as real development, growth, education, healthcare, infrastructure? How long should we tolerate this nonsense from media which is only concerned with TRPs and agitate the commoners with blown up news? Wake up friends!

Boss, people have been killed for eating something, or being suspected of eating something. Is this not a real issue for you? Then what is? Should the media just brush these killings under the carpet? I thought real development also means people not going around killing in the name of cattle.

I would like to add that what used to be a sin for some people has now become a CAPITAL crime, punishable with a mob giving death.
The people who never considered that foodstuff to be a sin they have become suitable targets -to be accosted, flogged, or killed on suspicion - like they were a Habitual Criminal tribe of the British days.
Rediff was cent percent wright in reporting the violence caused by so called cow vigilantes. Earlier many readers were criticizing it but now everybody is silent because the PM himself has endorsed the views of rediff. Congratulations rediff.
