Hindu!sm_has failed Dalits. They need a religion which doesn't just give light to the upper caste.
If this can provide them upper status in society, very good move, problem is actually by politicians who are spreading hate among masses in name of dalits. Need is to declare all BPL as dalits and all LIG as backward irrespective of caste, or religion etc., but how these politicians will thrive and create hindrance.
The problems of Dalits in Gujarat are similar to the problems faced by the Tamils in Sri Lanka. There, the Tamils faught a war with the Sri lankan army. Here in India, the Dalits in Gujarat are very mild and showing passive resistance to the government. Think about it.

GUJARAT DELETE PEOPLE SHOULD FOLLOW THE TAMIL SRILANKA MODEL OF DEVELOPMENT. EARLIER DURISNG SRIKRISHNAS TIME THE YADAVAS (cowboys)FOUGHT WITH EACH OTHER AND KILLED ALL. SUBSEQUENTLY DWARKA WENT UNDER WATER IN GUJARAT.
TIME IS COMING FOR ANOTHER CIVIL WAR AND ANOTHER DWARAKA!

Tamils of Sri Lanka cannot be compared to Dalits of Gujarat. The Tamils had left India to settle down in old Ceylon and had made a life for themselves there. Now, they claim that they owe allegiance to India since it becomes POLITICALLY expedient. And the Dravidian Tamil Parties are also conveniently supporting them for their own benefits. In fact, the Sri Lankan Tamils have found it convenient to flog Indian ancestry for getting all the economic benefits of Indian economy and the available bonanza of " FREEDOM OF SPEECH " ALL THE REFUGEES IN TAMILNADU REFUGEE CAMPS SHOULD BE IMMEDIATELY CLEARED OF THESE TAMILS AND THEY SHOULD BE SENT BACK AT THE EARLIEST. THEY ARE ONE OF THE MOST SELFISH TYPES AND ARE A BIG SOURCE OF LAW AND ORDER PROBLEMS.
YET THEM COMPLAIN THEY ARE POOR , WEAK, BACKWARD ETC. THEY HAVE PLENTY OF FOOD MONEY,FREE TIME , ENERGY AND SHREWD THINKING. HOW ELSE HAVE THEY ACCUMULATED IN CROWDS TO DISTURB PUBLIC?
