Communism is a failed system the world over. This ideology is an ideal theory which is not practicable.
There will be some misguided and uneducated audience for any meetings. After all democracy in India is surviving by keeping people uneducated, misguided, illinformed, or giving false hopes. what else can justify the Congress rule over the past 6 decades and still 50% population is poor. Kanaiah would be another parasite on the labour and farming class.

What made you think that the Congress rule was Communist.If it had been Communist,birth control would have been actively encourages as a result of which the the fruits of independance would have reached even down to the bottom layer of this country and poverty would have been eliminated.
Its hard to imagine how people are forced to live with half-empty stomach with religion in place for most of their lives.

Yes because they granted civil rights slowly in the form of glasnost and perestroika.If these were not granted,Soviet Union would have still existed.That is the reason why India does not grant its citizens all rights the average Westerner gets(assuming that he is knowledgeable enough to understand their import)

China is materially prosperous as they opened door to capitalism only after successful implementation of land reforms which increased the average consumption capacity of an average Chinese man.That is a Communist legacy.
