Absolutely correct the views expressed in the article. The last paragraph is fully true, our ancient great saints&pandits had excellent foresight to realize the pulse of common mans mentality even for next lakh of years in locating jyotirlingas at highly vaneered& beautiful locations that attract lakhs of pilgrims as well as tourists.jeediguntaGoa

The Science of Holy Places!

So our deep emotional investments in our Gods, mythological heroes, and even places, rivers, mountains, lakes, and even trees and flowers have found some "scientific"acceptance!

KAILASH

I am not commenting on Kailash only, all our ancient beliefs, misplaced pride in indian scrptures. One question I have, if we were so advanced in warfare (Ramayan and M\'Bharat) so ahead of times in thinking, so brave etc etc... the why we remained slaves for 1200 years? There is some thing wrong some where, some missing connections. Now again we want to return to Manu, Vedas, Upnishads, sanskrit etc etc. It is just cleverness that we take shelter in ancient \"times\" when it suits us and condemn modern thoughts. Why no go back to \'gurukuls\', shaved heads with \'chutyia\' (hairy tail), Sanskrit, ayurvaid, cotton thread, child marriages, ,multi-looking wives and so on. We are wasting our times for mars missions bullet trains etc.

The main problem started in the Buddhist era when the valor got second seat and the ahimsa way of life started flourishing. We can love peace and be peaceful but be ready to face non-peaceful visitors. Every culture, nation has its rises and falls and this is a cycle repeating over long periods. Every great culture which has seen high has gone down suddenly in the history. We are atleast still surviving.

IT is true that all these places have a devine power and are having some geomagnetic powers. Ancient Indians were realy much more advance in all fields than it is supposed. An idea of piligrimage given by them is waas also great one to keep the soviety connected with each other and people may know about other regions of the country and world. They were great.

can the scientists explain how our ancient people(more than 5000 years ago where it used to be thick forest) precisely identify those places where it is difficult to access even today, how they built such marvels where just walking with bear hands is difficult even today???

if you cannot answer this, then accept that modern science is atleast 5000 years backward compared to Bharatiyas.

Agreed. Divinity is beyond science and the arrogance of scientists fails to acknowledge this. Einstein himself admitted at later stages that he only collected pebbles by a ocean of existance.

Tomorrow again they prove that the spiritual activities followed in temples are scientific reasons. But I do not under stand that why our courts are interfering in Hindu temples day to day activities.
Is they are superior than Gods?
