Dr. Wahid may have got a PhD from Harvard, but his statement on NIT that Constitutionally, education is a 'state subject' is not based on facts. As per NIT Act, they are technical institutions of National importance and as such they come under Union List Item No. 64. Please check the facts before giving statements on sensitive topics.

Kashmiris will never be at peace until they accept that Kashmir is a part of India. As for the incident, what do you expect when you attack the army. Flowers? One has to draw a line somewhere. You can protest against any perceived attrocity. But attack the military? No go.

Hey Narayana, If you do not like being part of a country you just leave. Thats the simple message which Kashmiris have not understood. They have wasted a generation at the behest of a enemy country which unfortunately treats Kashmiris even badly

You are assuming culpability of military without even stating what was its fault. Get real.

If you assume that the army is not culpable, you are living in a paradise of your own making. Even a cursory reading of news papers (yes, Indian ones, not the Pakistan press) should give you an idea of the army role.
