Anyway I do not understand the very fact that we need to go to temples to worship at all. Home is as good as temple. Just my opinion. I like to do some small puja at home rather than going to crowded and noisy temples. Some small temples is fine where there is atleast some silence

And definitely agree with niran. There are rapes/selling of women/ attrocities on women which should take a higher priority for activists but activists as usual wants to be in media for ever, so they would not be really interested in these things

It is not possible to provide the needed safety, privacy, facility and physical protection to female members there in Pamba river bank and on the way to temple in the Hill.In open society so many wrong things happen. The way to sabarimalai is forest road with no facilities. One cannot control miscreants going there and causing all sorts of difficulties. That is avoid such happenings these restrictions are there. In Kerala not everyman can enter sanctum sanctorium R.PONNAMBALAM

People are progressive or regressive not religions. Hindu religion is progressive because we don't have many bigots, thankfully. Sad part is that the bigots are increasing by the day. Spreading such bigots are organisations like RSS and BJP.

And the judgment has happened during the BJP rule. The govt has clearly said it is committed to ensure women's rights in temples.
Now, other parties when in power, could have well done this. But they didnt. Who is the bigger bigot?

Judges don't give judgements based on the government in power.

The fact that women were not allowed during BJP rule is shameful and what's more shameful that the government administration sat on their hands and left no option with the women except to approach the court.

Certainly, BJP government procrastinated.

U r right to an extent... We don't have many bigots as other religions... but the problem erupts when some political parties start appeasing the bigots of other religions since they r far in number..

All such matter must be left on local population, as they remain their for all the time, manage and face all grace and dis-grace.
Hindus from the last 2000 years had been fighting for such nuisance issues due to diversified faith, as such today are living like fools in India.
