Whoever works on Tipu Sultan movie is anti-Indian'

This is a typical reaction of present day ruling party. How one can disown Tipu when he was born and was a king here only in India. One should resist to narrow down the concept of Indian nation

No, it was Siraj-ud-daulah of Bengal who first to raise against Britishers. Both Siraj and Tipu fought to save their sultanates and there was nothing nationalist in their ideals

of course they fought to save thier sultanates it is common sense that any king would fight to save his kingdom and that kingdom was in india so eventually they fought to save india indirectly. you wake up. do you have understanding problem?

Rajnikanth has acted as Shivaji in a film. If he now acts as Tipu, it will be an insult to Shivaji.
Ben Kinglsley acted in "Gandhi", and said his role as Gandhi brought about a spiritual transformation in him. If someone asks him to act in a film as Kasab, will he accept? "Hey Ram, Hey Ram". The same logic applies to Rajnikanth.

Why is the media ignorant in the name of secularism? thus spoke by our great "Raja"

Secularism is better than fanaticism whether it is Hindu or Muslim....But to put a lid or arts, speech, dress code, is a breach on freedom.
Rajnikanth is a actor and he should portray whatever the director says. He is not making a difference to conscious of an Intelligent Common Man.
Mr. Raja is intelligent I guess and I am sure a common man among the most common.

India is not one well before british and there are kingdoms which fought among one other, No one can deny Tipu the mysore warrior fought against the British to safeguard his place and people and there were many such kings and queens like him in India, while some colluded with them for money and also fearing their life.

who is a foreigner itself is debatable. India is not a single country with single religion before the british, history cant be changed by some select few. no one can deny Tipu the warrior fought for his kingdom against the british while simply many other so called patriotic colluded with them for money accepting their divide and rule policies.
