The sacrifices of our mighty lives of our 1965 Indo-Pak war like Brigadier Desmond Hayde, awrded with Param Veer Chakra, should be soluted with standing ovation.WE all feel proud of our Indian Army of 1965 and thereafter. But alas! how sad we donated back the Lahore (in Pakistan) which we won in 1965 war, back to Pakistan thanks to international politics combined with the USSR, who played a trick with our the then PM, L.B .Shastri, fondly called " the Little Big Man of India" universally. If Dograi in Pakistan (with Lahore) is now with India, Pakistan would not have wagged it's tail so vehemently on Kashmir now. We miserably Lost a BEST opportunity. Along the line, one cannot miss to mention about the " suspicious" sudden demise of our PM in Tashkent soon after the signing of the agreement with Gen. Ayubkhan pf Pakistan. This still remains a mystery just like the disappearance of Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose, which is partially revealed after 70 years. Let us be hopeful one day surely, the secret documents on the demise of our PM Lal Bahadur Shastri also also come to light. But we can surely expect the future Govt in India, especially Modi Govt, will not donate even an inch of land in Pakistan territory, if taken over by our Brave Army and other 2 Forces in future War. JAI JAWAN JAI BHARATH We feel prouud of Bharath and her Veer jawans.

Government should do its utmost to look after the interests of the armymen who martyred or retired serving the nation. Nation can never progress or its people can never lead a peaceful life when its hostile neighbours are out to destroy the nation. It is the sacrifices of these people that enable our peaceful existence.

Incidentally only these Jawan and Kisan only are negected today. Jai officers, jai Bureaucrat and jai politicians has become the open action as seen in the aftermath of what has transpired in the recent OROP HS. People not eligible for OROP amoung the Defecnce have snatched it away as they do while in service. Where is the welfare of the subordinate as ordained in NDA and truely followed by the heros like Brig Hyde.
This effort to educate the current generation of the sacrifices that laid the foundation of the country we know is really commendable. With the internet enabling the spread of information let us hope more Indians will have the opportunity of being inspired by such great characters.
