these grandpa and uncle like students(?) are playing just time pass game on the expenditure of Indian tax payers. How many great artists /technicians are product of FTII? FTII has Only few frustrated people who made films for themselves.

You are right. Students have no business deciding who should be their teacher or director.For last many years FTII has sunk to the bottom with nothing of substance coming out of there and that too when celebrated persons were directors or incharge. So, what does it prove.running an institute is administration, different from teaching. And even a simple grad with no artistic background can be a very good director.These students are basically time pass guys not interested in mastering any craft.They are damaging the institution by their intransigence.Celebrities should not indulge these bunch of misguided brats whose sole aim is to waste time and their parents money.
