A total lie by former Mumbai Police Commissioner Satyapal Singh, now a Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) MP from Uttar Pradesh, said that one of the reasons for shifting Maria could be that he is close to Peter Mukerjea, husband of Sheena murder case accused Indrani Mukerjea. Satyapl is playing politics a dirty man. The people of Mumbai should condemn this. Maria is known for his straight and clean man image and is appreciated by one and all. Satyapal ji you play politics at your village. Maria on record said that he doesn't know the high profile couple at all and met them at the police station. Satyapal ji you will fail in politics minf my words. Satypalji you can fool all the people some of the time, and some of the people all the time, but they cannot fool all the people all the time. I would suggest to mind your business.
transfers are done as govt. is empowered. investigations are done is a routine procedure though may or not be useful. but in instant case police moral may be low which is not useful for bringing down crime rate low in other states of india.

You have hit the nail on the head. Maria is a shrewd, honest and clever CP. How can anyone say that he was taking a personal interest in the case when he did everything out in the open for everyone to see? If he had any sinister designs he could have done it without showing anyone that he was involved. People are not fools.

Maria should not have been removed. But honesty always takes a back seat in Govt. where babus writ runs. Now case will go and every body will be free. Perhaps money has played its card?

I fully agree. CM of Maharashtra U turn doesn't make sense. He should have waited till the end of his term. BJP it seems doesn't want good work to be done Mumbai or or usual will not last for 5 years.Trust BJP govt. for making U-turns and now clumsily too! Where was the need for this order in the midst of the investigations unless the govt. wanted it hushed up ?At least the inexperienced BJP should learn from Cong party to scuttle probes w/o messing it up and getting egg on the face ! Right from the start it was evident Maria was moving in very sure footed manner on the investigations based on family insiders tip offs and nothing could go wrong.
There are many super cops in IPS; no one is indispensable. The best under the circumstances on part of Govt is to issue a show cause notice to explain Maria his stand in case he over acted in the case. This makes the govt case/stand a transparent to the public

Modi wanted to be PM and he used all means be it 15 lacs (They have given Jhumla of 3lacsx5maxi 5 persons in a family equals 15 lacs is all false from black money as this will not transpire at all? Ot becomes Jhumla after an election that means he has been falsly assuring the people. Shameless.) to all Indians the black money returns, be it good governance etc. We Indians only hope?
