We are habituated in finding conspiracy in everything. Our minds has become like that. If Maria transferred, why transferred? If not not transferred, why not transferred? Maria, as we all know, was after Seena Bora murder case. He wanted to make it big before he is transferred. Like every cricketer want to make a century before retirement to make it memorable one. Everyday hundreds of crimes are committed. What's big deal in Seena Bora murder? What CM will gain or loose if criminals are jailed or go free? Lets these people do their job. They are elected by people to do it. They are responsible people. Trust them. Lets not try to find conspiracy everywhere.

Rakesh Maria was on the Money laundering trail and who knows how many of the ruling party big wigs would have found to have been involved? A sure reason for the transfer. Now with Maria out, I hope the new incumbent does a proper job. Mr. Javed Akhtar is a man of repute, a status which he should not lose.
The whole country knew that this transfer was just motivated! Any prudent man ought to believe existence of mens rea to shield the powerful and mighty engaged into the murder and who eventually involved in hugely gotten illegal money!
one rupee salary cop has property enjoys high facilities and even manages to eat food and take care of his family in maharashtra and also has high contacts in the underworld who tell him of all crimes committed in maharashtra and also protect him. What a news it should make headlines of the world media and news and here we are checking sadhus and arresting people for links with underworld and this person is running the government and its security.
After 5 months he would be retiring...Maria on the other hand would be eventually promoted as DGP of police force after reshuffling of officers in 6 months.
Timing of this sudden transfer must be noted, CM is also having charge of Home ministry which took this decision, but for avoiding barrage of questioning CM ran away on foreign junket. Hats off to CM for perfect timing

A shame to have such a CM. Udhav Thackeray would have made a better choice for CM. A CM running away on a foreign junket when farmers of Marathwada are committing suicide. Visiting them as a showbiz and then running away on a foreign junket is just applying salt to their wounds.This is the time he should have been with them & supervised their aid. If he has any morals, he should resign.

This sorry state of affairs is our own creation.We elected these people in anticipation that BJP could be different than Congres/NCP. However BJP has shown in last 8 months that they have not learnt any lessons from the past. Shame on us that we elected such people to rule us
there have been instances in the past,when citizens have opposed transfer of clean,capable administrators by vested interests and have got their postings back The present situation calls for such agitation at least by Mumbai people--why should an officer of the level of PC be transferred by those people whose own integrity is always questionable The whole episode stinks
The transfer of Mr.Maria shows once again how desperate the political leaders are to wield all the powers from the actual executive machinery.This is prevalent in almost all the states.The Chief Ministers or the Ministers do not state clearly why a particular officer is transferred or required to be transferred.They always tell that the transfer orders are in public interest.

They say that no officer is indispensable. But in some cases the vested interests find that the removal of an officer from a post is "indispensable"! (I don't know the correct word but indispensable seems okay)
