'It takes two hands to clap', as the saying goes, India should try to scale down the tensions with China, rather than escalating it. Finally, it is India that will suffer if a conflict with China ensues. Caution is advised.

INDOSIN TENSIONS
by vivek srivastava on Sep 09, 2015 10:52 PM

The war between India and Pakistan is long over due and China is bound to support India's adversaries because of its vested interests. The war will be limited yet driven by much large scale economic interests. India needs to be prepared for the worst and therfore prepare its people and military.

China should practise what it preached.

If China wants to wean India away from the US, it needs to scale down the tension on its borders with India and stop supporting Pakistan to counter India. The more China tilts towards Pakistan, the more India will be forced to spend on defence and weapons will have to be bought from US and other sources.
