Is Modi the Weakest PM?
by Useless Comments on Sep 13, 2015 05:17 PM

Even with minority Rao was able to handle the opposition and allies, and was able to push reform.. BJP that time used to cry their neck out to stop FDI in india (although today they want FDI.. and they are supporting it.. why?)

Current govt even with majority has been a failure when it comes to push reform.. they are busy defending their corrupt ministers... and due to it parliament can't continue..

Even last UPA govt has the guts to sacked shashi tharoor .. but modi has no guts to sack corrupt ministers...
He will be known as the weakest PM of India...

PM with clear majority wasn't able to push reform and punish corrupt ministers

Greatest PM for all the times to come

PVN is one of the best PM we had Our country has reached $1.5 trillion is only due to foresightedness of this great leader! Why vilify him? During his brief five years at the helm he has stemed the rot made by notorious Nehru and his family

Post Mortem by Jairam
by Manabendra Pathak on Sep 09, 2015 10:47 AM  | Hide replies

This is a cunning interview. Jairam is not a statesman to take his comment seriously. He is just one of the ordinary Congress men who peeps everything under the veil of Nehru-Gandhi family. On the other hand Narashimha Rao had his own conviction and he became PM when Congress was under weakest Gandhi family influence. This favored Rao a lot and never in the history of Congress had such opportunity. Sonia was then a becoming-leader under practice, and she knew hardly anything on policy matter. She was yet to build up a coterie, obedient servants of Congress around her, now where Jairam is placed. The economic reform was natural and most essential at that time and in front of Rao there was only INDIA and not Gandhi family. Similarly Manmohan was an economist then so he worked like that and he was under Rao. When the same Manmohan worked under Sonia as PM, the world knows … Most of Rao’s bold or weak (Congress conveniently describes) policies were without much influence of Gandhi family. He saw or forced to see India by his own eye and not Gandhi family’s eye. This includes Babri episode. Congress may keep on doing post mortem for another half century to find something from Rao because that is in their DNA and that is how they survive. For example they are still doing Sardar Patel.

Jairam was my senior both at school and IIT B and a good friend of ours. He was a good all round personality excellent in academics sports and extra curricular activities. But I am shocked at his present obsequious behaviour. He has become a slave of the Gandhi's and his conduct leaves a lot to be desired

What are the Congress doing now ?
by KRISHNAMURTHY V on Sep 09, 2015 05:45 AM  | Hide replies

Jairam Ramesh says: " How the opposition was managed is a tribute to both Manmohan Singh and Rao. The number of times they met Opposition leaders, held debates in Parliament, gave a number of interviews and were extraordinarily active in their political outreach." But now the Congress under Sonia Gandhi is not ready for any debate in the parliament nor outside it. They are bent on disrupting the Parliament proceedings using BJP's minority status in the RS; and Jairam Ramesh is one among them. The persons left in the Congress as of now are 'slaves' of the Nehru family who make a good living out of their connections.

Jairam is one such slave. He says at one point that the leaders are not gods, their actions would have to be reviewed, but does he have guts to review the actions of Indira Gandhi, Nehru, Sonia, Sanjay Gandhi and Rahul? Big talks from a slave.

Such a purile attempt to grudgingly reclaim Rao only partially
by Naitik on Sep 08, 2015 03:11 PM  | Hide replies

Shame on this sham effort to reclaim Rao. He was the first Non Nehru Congressi PM who radicalized Indian economy. Despite Sonia and Rahul's half baked crony socialism ( which excludes Damad ji), they could not put the clock back. Though the did put several road blocks like Forest Rights, Land Acquisition etc...Gandhis found Jairam the most convenienty writer. He had grudges with Rao for shunting him out of PMO, He is Rahul loyalist and superficially educated ( better reputation than Rahul in education and understanding), so he is doing deliberately grudgingly half hearted appreciation of Rao, slamming him for Babri Masjid etc. to relocate Congs pseudo secular credentials. Claiming rao's economic legacy as Congress's. Does he want to say that Army would have objected if PM had said that Rao's body is kept at Cong HQ or even 7 RCR or Teen Murti... kisko bewaaakoooofff samjha hai Jairam Ramesh... Sonia was power drunk, never bothered about Rao all the UPA years. Jairam Ramesh Public memory is not that short...

For the Congress the Nation is not very important; it is only the Nehru family that is important. P.V.Narasimha Rao was a power outside the Nehru family, and had also 'performed' well during the Financial crisis; and this was his undoing, as Congress needs servants not thinkers !!!

Credit should be given to PVN Rao for 'handling' the intelligent Dr. MMS and backing him politically to get things done. Sonia Gandhi could not make/motivate Dr.MMS to do better things as PM, as her priorities were different.

Congress did not forget PVN's achievements; it deliberately erased his achievements. Because, PVN does not come from THE family.

Why politicians want to keep bad memories alive, just for their vote bank, Past can never come back, we can only improve present and future. We want to go ahead, not backward. otherwise the disputed site of Ram Janam Bhoomi was/is not adding to any productive work in mankind. Politicians are only spreading hate among masses.
