Pension should be linked to war. If soldier had gone to battle field, declared/undeclared war by GOVT. of INDIA then his pension should be reviewed every five years. But those joined and came safely, had not seen any action on field/sea/air must not demand special status.
I must congrat ex-servicemen for their satygraha and achieveing their objective, though distasteful to mny who don't express publicly.
I fear, In the process the country may trap in the unseen chaos in near future as many central govt employees , be it paramilitary forces or other employees who are in the public service may adopt similar strategy to achieve their demand.
One thing is very clear that the agitation, sorry, Satyagraha has damaged the image of a soldier, for sure.
I also predict, the tax free wine for ex-servicemen from canteen may not last for longer period. BANIYA GOVT is already counting how much burn he has got on his hand.

This Satya graha has paved the way for many in future to take this method.. Added with Cong , Sonia, Rahul sloganeering with hands raised for all kind of hatao, bacavo, are going to be another change in hartals.. The top notches above have done the damage to the society in the name of democracy!!
Should not call off 'SatyaGrah'till the Valid Notification is out. The Govt has promosed number of times that it is committed to OROP but never announced the date.The same thing is repeated.If the Govt wanted they would have publised the notification nex day.Why they want three weeks.I do not think that the Babus are So "inefficient" "One smells rat."
Modi govt. has misguiding the Nation. They ares is saying they have resolved the issue of OROP which Congress has not done in 42 Yrs. My fellow citizen Mr. Modi forgot the period of Mr. Morarji Desai and Mr.Vajpayee Mr. Chandra Sekhar and NDA's First Prime Minister. Mr.A.B.Vajpayee regime. Secondly the 500 Cr. provision made by UPA Goverment was not on full fledge Budget. It was an Interim Budget. UPA govt. agreed to implement OROP from 01st April 2014, whereas this Govt.has declared to implement from 01 July 2014.
Mr. Prime Minister please don't mislead the nation and cheat the veterans. If you really want to keep your promise, you accept all the demands including Equivalisation at least once in two years, Without the Equivalisation once in two year the OROP it not OROP at all.

Can one from the Satya grahis n supporters, why did not they do Satya graha earlier... As its 4 decades old.. And why they have chosen to do Sathya graha at this juncture.. Esp. The Modi govt promised and was working.. On this .. They are not just working on this alone.. There are other issues apart from Orap for India n there are other Indians also.. It's indeed sad the matured n senior n disciplined service people talk n doing things this way!!
These verterans have been silent for all the 42 years and serving the country.
People Of India sleep peacefully not because our parliamentarians are making good decisions for their benefit. It's because THE INDIAN ARMY is guarding them and will come to their rescue in times of need. otherwise these politicians do not have time to count the money they have pooled and issue condolence messages. Had it not been for these veterans every state would have been another kashmir or just another pakistan or syrian state.
So, As civilians we have no right to comment on the the demands OROP.
forget about education, development, internet and all the luxury. we would have to wake up for the sounds of bombs and misslies firing everyday
Ex defence minister anthony a k has termed the govts dealing as not satisfactory- he was defence minister for previous terms why he has n ot solved the problem it was because of the burden those m inisters were helping to loot the countrys assets by a few family members now that bjp has somehow settled the issue Anthony has no ground to criticise the present minister
