The K S condom ad featuring Milind soman and swetha was far more provocative. If the minister is correct, rape incidents must have gone up at that time! It is time our ministers stop talk in thin air.. reality lies some where else.. the skewed gender ratio is going to give jitters in the near future!
Dear Readers there should be a clear and blunt message to our leadership which is sheerly incapable of handling serious issues and making policies. On one side they says they want police to be under them so that they can control things on other hand they blame other for their failure. How about we blame our political leaders who are non performing, to blamed for all the rapes happen in our society as most of the police department is providing the security to them , while what is suppose to be the main job of the police is subsided.
It is our political leader attitude to handle the problem in our society that leads to greater difference in us. In future they might say that because you are a girl that's why you have been rape. girls are responsible for the rape. Rapist are innocent because they belong to their caste or religion.

Agree with Jalal....there are bigger more important issues for leaders to deal with. Secondly, most rape victims in India are from poorer sections of society and perpetrators are to mostly from that strata. The victims are 95% of time dressed in saree or salwar, and not provocatively. This shows the mind set of the typical indian male - who are sexually starved.

Contraceptives were introduced in India to curb population growth. It all happened in mid 70s. Cant understand, why all such companies are required to advertise nudity for selling their products. Sex is a basic human need and the purpose can well be solved without showing an almost nude lady. Unfortunately such advertisements present females more like a prostitute. Such advertisements does leave bad impact on tender minds. Do we really need to show almost naked lady to TV to sell the products. This is all mere exaggeration. 2 minute ka kaam hai bhai...every normal person knows how to start it and how to finish it. :D
