It's a pity to see the development in Bihar with Cong, Laloo, now Nitish for 6 decades ! The poor n children state is still bad!!the CM must visit other states in South TN, AP, carnataka etc. There are poor but not to the extent of how the politicians damaged Bihar!! Time Nitish do something!! Laloo used JP name only!! N in all ghotalas,more Biharis outside, one must see the Q sitting out side Bihar trains in Mumbai every day ferrying by 4/5 trains per day!!job!!!!
Hats off to Archana Masih for a truly engrossing series that brought Bihar alive and closer to those of us who live far away. Some, like me, who have lived in Bihar and seen the interiors, can empathise even more with the quality of the writing. Y're a great journalist, Ms Archana. Keep it up.

The thing is that any of our current generation politician has any such things to say, any value they hold for the coming generation to follow...except wrong doings and hate speeches that destroy the society/nation.

Cabbie is a true character or imagined one or it is just an anecdote. Hopefully Cabbie is real and real statement. Modi is need of next 25 years and rightly so. With modi two things have happened: 1. Beginning of disappearance single ham controle on the nation of 125 crore people, which means 125 sleaves to one single famly and if this has to sustain Modi ji must and shall rule for 25 years 2. Modi Ji gave a hope that Bharath cultural ehos and identhity will be safe and if this hope has to turn to reality Modi ji must and shall rule for at least 25 years.

India has seen democrativ govt under Vajpayee and Modi. Otherwise we were ruled by a monarchy called Nehru/Gadhis.
