Ancient hyndu scriptures mention and

even prescribe the eating of beexf !

For example, Yagnavalkya, the ancient sage who composed the Brihadaranyaka Upanishad, has recommended beexf and veal for couples who desire to have good sons. He also stated that he enjoyed eating Amsala (meat of young bulls).

Now, none among the Sangh Parivars bhakts would venture into discussing this fact, would he ?

Maybe you are right; you didn't mention your source. In that case vegetarianism came later. I heard someone say that Sankara was the one who introduced it. Be that as it may, I would rather not kill animals for my food. Of course, everyone should condemn the recent incidents like Dadri.

My source is the Brihadaxranyaka Upanxishad (as I mentioned in my post)!

Please refer to it and find out.

You heard that Sank ara was the one who introduced vegetarxianism?

Really?

And what is your source for this pearl?

Well, instead of relying on what someone says for engaging in debate, why dont you actually begin reading in some detail?

For your information, Sankar acharya was not the one who introduced vegetaxrianism in Indian society. That came long before him, as a response by the hyndu braxhmixnical sections against the Buddxhist practice of non violence!

That was one way the hyndu priestly classes - afraid that they might one day lose their entrenched power in hyndu society - devised to counter the increasing influence of the Buddxhists!

Read about all these. Information is freely and abundantly available. And read from multiple sources.

Ever heard of *Riddles in Hynduism* ???

That is way above your head ??

Try reading it !

Sure, it must be way above your head. But you can make an attempt. It may not hurt all that much !!

You dare call the book *Riddles in Hynduism* idiocy ???

Beware !

Many followers of Dr. Ambedkar also can be as unreasonable and as violent as those violent hyndu fundamentalists who have been in the news recently !

Dont underestimate them !

I do not know who this Zakir Naik you appear to be obsessed with is, honest !

But I do know now that you had no idea at all that the Brihadaryanaka Upanishad could have betrayed fundamentalists in this way !

Piri, I asked u to paste one line, which u cud not, and are unnecessarily dragging Babasaheb in this debate..

Ask ur paymasters whether sun sets in a mud lake, and how is it possible for a virgin to bear a ... :)

What is the point discussing what was written ages ago? U denigrate one community, then don't expect the other side not to come back 2 u. So u b happy with what u have and let the other be happy with what they have..

Piri, every patriotic India is respectful towards Babasaheb. Nobody can deny that his contribution in drafting the Indian Constitution has definitely resulted in a sane society we have today. It is a Vatican and left propaganda that Hindus disrespect him, and use this as a tool to fool the Dalits.. And you my friend are one such person propogating that very ideology. Don't worry, u cannot hide the truth forever. Kerala and Bengal are the last refuge of these leftist scoundrels, and this will also go away very soon..

Truth, I referred to the extreme hypocrisy of fanatic louts going about trying to stamp out beexf eating in the country in the name of hyndu religious sentiments while being entirely ignorant about the fact that beexf eating was not only as widely prevalent in ancient India (an age which modern day hyndu zealots like to refer to as hyndu utopia) as in modern India, but also mentioned and recommended without meaning any fuss in hyndu scriptures !

If you want to evade this inconvenient little truth, the best possible way perhaps would be to keep quiet instead of trying to assuage yourself by saying that I am either a muxlim or a chrittin !

(by the way, I am a malayali hyndu - at least I have a hyndu name)

By the way, you sound so respectful about Dr. Ambedkar (Babasaheb !!) !!

Pray, are you afraid on second thoughts to call Dr. Ambedkars book, Riddles in Hynduism as someones idiocy ??
