Even a small school going kid knows that dance bars were never completely shut down even after they pretended them to be. It's a shameful nexus of dance bars owners and Police which is an open secret, how police gets a regular daily allowances ( Haftaa vasuli ) from those and then how they do business with their blessings. Some days ago there was a news in some leading daily's about how some of Mumbai's and Thane's police officers are actively involved in this racket. Not only dance bars, but increasing cases of chain-snatchings in Mumbai and Thane areas are due to this inauspicious coalition of these gangs with police and their regular haftaa-vasuli. So, unless this nexus gets break down no law, no order or no compulsion by any court or government will work.
NGOs can file a PIL in SCI to allow it to celebrate periodically Dance Bars in India to collect money for providing basic facilities, pension, pf. by keeping a Register, which the present Owners have not provided.
Congres Govt had banned dance bars in Maharashtra and rightly so. Most of the visitors to dance bars are low and middle income group men, mostly migrants. They spend all the money they earned, leaving nothing for the family back home. It is being argued that there are about 75,000 bar girls and about 500,000 employees in bars who will be rendered jobless if dance bars are banned. Some so called 'Intellectuals" put forward these arguments. Is vulgar dancing is the only way to earn money? There are millions of young women in rural India who work as farm labourers to earn a petty sum of Rs 150-175 per day, that too by slogging for 8 hrs in scorching heat of 45 degree C. But they live a decent, respectful life. Bar dance is not just a dance. It is in reality prostitution racket.It corrupts the minds of an already pervert man, who is away from home. It is the same man who becomes a predator and attacks small girls, women-both young and. We have heard enough stories of 70-75 years old women getting raped. What could be the mindset of the rapist? Bar dancing should be banned across the country.Those who sympathises with Bar Dancers are the ones who come on TV and shed crocodile tears when some young child is brutally raped by pervert men.
Must be in every big cities so as to reduce rape cases etc., What is then rave parties, pubs and other entertaining places, let us follow Western or Eastern culture in this respect.

Our society is going to dogs with children completely brain washed by western media e.g. of Valentines day, Fathers day, mothers day, ‘ live in relation’, divorce at your convenience. Our media supports all this in the name of freedom. where is the society leading to? We should preserve our culture and not be carried away by western culture.
Saddest part is that people from East and West are adopting our rich culture and learning and adopting Sanskrit and we are blindly adopting Western culture
