Students have no right to tell who a university should appoint or not. These good for nothing students should be fired and sent to jail for vandalism.

FTII row - first talk fail

Why the present government care for this students who are not really interested in studies stall and just want to play dirty politics at the behest of some of the politicians . I have seen this arrogant, overconfident bigmouth Vikas Urs on Arnab Goswamys debate show where he was the courtesy and mannerless participant who was irritating other participants by talking constantly nonsense and disturbing and interrupting when other get chance to speak. What right this students has to ask for removal of Gajendra Chauhan as FTII Chief ? Why there are many students of 1988 batch still yet to complete their project and course ? Why govt is wasting huge subsidy for education of this students who are not interested in studies ? This students has made their agitation a political by committing the great blunder knowingly or unknowingly by seeking support from out of power Rahul Gandhi. Now there are no chances that govt. will accept their any of demands. It is time, if this students still remain adamant on their demands to close the institution and use the amount of subsidy for other noble cause. Till that time let this students continue their cheap gimmicks and go on " relay fast ". No one will care.

It should read as " 2008 batch " instead for " 1988 batch "

very correct! Further, if the demand of students on such a wrong issue was to be accepted, it would set up a very bad precedent for the entire society esp education system.Respect for teachers would be greatly diminished .
Cinema cannot be a priority sector for a poor albeit developing nation like us.The govt. should seriously think of discontinuing the grants to such institutes

Which serious student if seriously care for his study and future prospect opt to go on a long strike for unreasonable demand just to satisfy their unnecessary ego ? Are they fools to under estimate strength, power of the present government.
