transparency

Comparing declarations on two different dates, one can find whether increase in assets is proportionate to income. This was the way, when wealth tax returns were being filed. This could be done in cases of potential lawmakers. Declaration of assets and tax paid, should be made compulsory for top executives in the balance sheet of companies, public or private

We have approximately 900 Districts?
by V Nagarajan on Sep 11, 2017 05:03 PM

We have approximately 900 districts. For HC judges, each of the district must send one or two names of competent persons,to the respective High Court. The HCs must send the names to the SC after consulting the law secretary & Bar Council. This will help equitable distribution. The district and subordinate judges can be selected by an exam like the Civil Services Exs. SC judges can be appointed by elevating the HC Judges.

Judicial system
by arungopal agarwal on Nov 27, 2015 10:28 AM  | Hide replies

We live in a country where under the nose of every judge, Peshkar or Reader takes bribe, cases are not settled even in 10-20 years. As such great need to fix the accountability of judicial system viz.
1. All criminal cases must be settled within one year time and civil 2 years time.
2. Put two shifts for all pending cases so as to finish them urgently.
3. Accountability of judges be fixed to settle the cases within prescribed time limit.
4. Why an affidavit is needed for any issue, whatever is told before a judge and recorded itself is affidavit.
5. Law of the country is same throughout, at least none of the govt. deptt, be allowed to move to higher courts in case they get negative judgement, this will reduce corruption also.
6. Try to minimise the redundant laws and separate deptt, can erase all loop holes of the evils of law including relooking at our constitution, EC reforms and other judicial/Police reforms.
The above can be finished within 2-3 years time.

It is the coercieve politics which makes State machienry act slow
by Bala krishna on Nov 27, 2015 09:31 AM

It is unfortunate state of affair where the fundamental rights is openly violated by the Parliament to nullifying the highest courts orders yet the Honorable Court covers itself under the carpet of neutrality which has not got the sanction the law as self impeachment is the corner stone of Indian Constitution only and exceptionally granted to the Supreme Court of India.
Transparency is immune in the executive as every act is subject to judicial view is a fundamental right in itself, the situation of anarchy is a creation of party politics which has no legal sanction.
