How about verses from the Mahabharatha where millions of killings happened in the name of war? Oh! Did I open your eyes or are you blind until now?
Any faith that has evolved with time has not only survived, but grown and accepted by people of other faiths as well. The concept of rebirth in Hinduism, true or false, pacifies one about the fear of death.Hence is finds acceptance in the western world too. But the desert rules of centuries back of another faith is blindly followed by people in tropical countries in modern time make the faith a farce.

They may have a faith risen from the desert but at least they still hold onto the value of G0d where as G0d is missing with you. That is why you have so much of corruption, hatred among the castes,perpetual discrimination, raping of your own woman by your own people. They have zero tax salary, minute corruption, strong legal system, superb military forces, woman are protected, no caste system. Their government gives them jobs, helps them to rise on their feet. What does your government or your people do? Wake up to the realities. They are desert nerds with only oil and they have kept preserved their identity. How about you?

Faith develops after a long experience of life and interaction and it includes rationalism too.Then how faith is considered bad ? In fact, ambitious but cunning persons exploit this sentiments of humans for their advantage. And use faithful persons as pawns for their ambitions , like developing suicide bombers, terrorists etc. Immature persons or inexperienced youths are trapped in the name of FAITH.
Faith which does not listen reason is blind will lead you to ditch and destruction.More blind faith in a society , more problem for it. Scientific temper is must for a society. unfortunately, in India we are presently going in a reverse gear in this regard.
