I is common to win election or loose. The victory is purely due to arithmetics. If Nitish was confident of winning elections, he would have contested elections on his own (without Lalu's help). This is certainly an eye opener for BJP. But there is nothing BJP lost (as it was never ruling the State independently. Let's not give more importance to state elections than what is required.

NITISH AND LALOO HAVE WON BUT THE STATE OF BIHAR HAS BEEN DEFEATED BY ITS OWN PEOPLE. THE VERY INTELLIGENT AND POLITICALLY OVER ZEALOUS BIHARIS WILL RUE THEIR DECISION AS THE PEOPLE OF DELHI ARE FEELING.
actually he lost the bihar. during 2010 he won 115 seat only 8 seat short for simple majority that is the his capable (but how he get because of Allaince with BJP) what know he won only 71 seat 51 seat short ( alliance with corrupt Lallu and congress) That is main deffernt . The media must read this not giving the on communal, arrogent or AGAINST MODI. NITHISH LOST HIS CREDIBLITY AND POWER. HE IS PARTNERSHIP OF JUNGLE RAJ.AND CORRUPTION PARTY
