Is it a case that Bihar still votes strictly on caste basis.

The victory of Nitish in Bihar
by Damodar Biswal on Nov 09, 2015 10:22 AM  | Hide replies

He has been the best CM candidate for Bihar.BJP did not have a CM candidate n a state election can not be fought without a NDA leader of Nitish stature. Most important reason for Nitish victory is people did not believe in divisive politics of BJP.

Democracy means, Govt of the people by the people for the people, but in Bihar it is Govt of the ( pro reservationist) ST,SC,OBC by the SC,ST,OBC and for the SC,ST,OBC.Nitish and Lalu did nothing for Bihar. The always succeeds in covincing poor people of Bihar that if BJP wins, they will do away with reservation. However they are unable to create new jobs there.

the victory of nitish led grand alliance in bihar election has been already decided. however rise of lalu yadav in bihar election is not an healthy sign for bihar, nobody cap support 15 years misrule of rjd in bihar. now the whole responsibility lies on nitish kumar how he implement his development agenda by maintaining coordination with rjd. I dont support lalu and congress on national level, modi is the fittest candidate for center only he has to get rid of some hardliners within his own party aond parent
organisation rss.

Bihar result
by Subrata Bhaumik on Nov 09, 2015 05:23 AM

I have the following observations on why BJP did so badly.
1.0 Not declaring CM candidate
2.0 PM spending too much time in Bihar making it a personal issue.
3.0 Declaring untruths in rallies about funds
4.0 Should have stuck to development and corruption free image of NDA Government
5.0 Reining in loose mouths of many in NDA.

Now that die is cast I see the positives as below.
1.0 If by such a verdict, Bihar develops, it is good for the country and for NDA.
2.0 Modi will be more pragmatic in tackling other coming state elections.
3.0 Let a message go out to RSS also.

It Is Modi's Largesse To Nitish.....And The Nation Wins......
by rishi on Nov 09, 2015 12:25 AM

....TEAM-INDIA LED BY MODI played this entire game in all excellence....projecting 'Modi Vs Nitish' helped prop up the latter....this election too has been won on development on the strength of Bihar's regional parties whose own strength makes congress irrelevant once again....successfully conveying that henceforth all of the other states' elections too can become virtually non-congress events and that it is always either BJP or any NON-congress regional party as a choice for the electorate across the nation....this is bound to produce concrete gains for economic development and overall a healthy and productive socio-political environment. Everytime an assembly election is held in any of the states this is exactly what the Modi-Led-BJP sets out to achieve .....exactly what it publicly embarked upon from day one when Modi was chosen to lead the lok-sabha elections of 2014....MODI HAS REMAINED REMARKABLY CONSISTENT ON BJP'S MISSION OF ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT (POSSIBLE ONLY) IN A NON-CONGRESS INDIA..political leaderships across the nation must ensure that this becomes their mission...else the people will be once again subjected to the 'chalta hai(corruption)' and 'jee hujoori' culture of that 130 yr. old congress pvt. ltd., which has already completed its lifecycle ! Nitish is capable and laloo holds the ground....the two together can perform the perfect tango in bihar with unconditional support for development from Team-India.Cheers to Modi and continued good-governance to Nitish.

Missing hindutva votes.. ?
by ashish tiwari on Nov 08, 2015 11:59 PM  | Hide replies

because he asked Sadhvi to apologize, he has done nothing for pandits, he has done nothing to stop isi and pakistani flags in kashmir... he asked sakshi maharaj to shutup to appease opposition?

He forgot he was not elected for gujrat model of economics but because of his hindutva.
