Modi has lost mainly because of caste card played by Lalu and Modi\\\\\\\'s campaign should have been concentrated only on bad image of Lalu which was endorsed by highest authority of India not by BJP or Modi
Modi’s campaign should have been in the tune
‘’ If Bihar people cast their vote for him (Lalu) ,they will also be counted by same state of mind by rest of country .Will they agree to come to the level of Lalu ,if so they can cast their in favour of that party or else they should find alternative by them self .’’
That should have been the only strategy for winning the election by BJP .
In my opinion it was one of the easiest state ,where stage was well set to beat opponent like Lalu who is convict as per Judiciary of India and who was not allow to participated in election .
It will be very difficult for BJP to find victor now in any of the states in India except South side .

by Sandeep Singh on Nov 09, 2015 07:30 AM

No. of votes polled by SP, BSP and NOTA doesn't tally with quoted percentages!!
e.g. JDU (16.7%) has 62 lakh votes while BSP (2%) shown to have 74 lakhs votes, how can that be possible??

An uutsiders view.....following the news.

#1. BJP fell into the trap of caste and religion laid by Lalu and Co. It was Lallu and Co who were dictating the discourse and agenda for the elections.

#2. Of course no denying Nitish has a good track record as CM and was able to retain his vote bank. After all he made many friends in 10 years as CM. Not a pushover. Giving people what they want...crumbs !

#3. MIM spoiled BJP's chances more than that of Mahagathbandan. Everyone thought Modi brought Owaisi into the picture to split Muslim votes. Hence the Yadav Muslim votebank went solidly behind Lalu.

#4. "HOLY COW" Keep it away from politics. Yadav's are not swayed. They prefer Lallu's caste over cow.

#5. Pulses and Onions. Why are ruling govts so inefficient when it comes to controlling prices when the stakes are so high? No vision!!

#6. Who is your CM candidate? People want to know him before they vote.

#7. People can see through the 1.25 lakh crore package? What package did AP get...it was promised in the parliament. Lead by example...not empty promises.

#8. Land bill was atrocious. It was a clear sign that BJP was being capitalist friendly not farmer friendly. How much land do MNC's need? Real land sharks. Why do they need 100's of acres to provide for few hundred jobs? The intelligent MODI was arrogant in implementing it. Now the voters show who is in control.

#9. Did you promise bicycles, laptops, gas stoves, free food (amma canteens)......these are what attract the masses who cannot afford a decent

"I think you have covered most of the points. But how can ppl forget Lalus jungle raaj which kept Bihar at the back seat for more than a decade? How can ppl forget Nitish and Lalu who were like enemies, bent their back to remain in power ? It is like we never learn from our past"

it used to be mocked in some dialogues in Bollywood movies that people in this country have short memory....anyway, people of UP too forgot previous SP jungle raj when they voted yadavs again, didn't they?

Governance or Sops
by Raman Krishnaswamy on Nov 08, 2015 11:27 PM  | Hide replies

My government has decided to pay regular salary even to the contract teachers which will be effective from July 1, 2015 “but the details of the decision will be available by the education department”, declared Nitish Kumar.

For the last several months over 3.85 lakh contract teachers of the state have been protesting to get regular salary in accordance with the other government teachers of the state. Their huge number is being considered electorally effective and influential by the political observers of the state.
3.85 lakhs assured votes plus a lot more, anticipating the promised sops is the real reason for the win
