First, nobody is saying that India is intolerant. What many people are saying is that intolerance in increasing, especially under the watch of BJP government.
Second, Yes everyone has a right to say that India is intolerant. This is a democratic country and in a democratic country people have a right to say what they like including things against the country.

Right anupam ji, India is tolerant. Please ask your supporters also be tolerant. Just try to raise any question against your govt and then see the BJP stooges thrash you left right and centre with all sorts of TOLERANT adjectives and with tolerance level of whole country in their minds.
if no body has right to say about intolerance in india then no any BJP/RSS or any citizen should have right to say anything to particular community....let sent these sadhvi,sadhus and owaisi and others similar fascist people a great snubb and ignoarance,,,,lets silence them and you will see our country will back on normalcy regardless of anypower in center

U R right boss.Let these so called champions of all religions be put behind bars for some months and show them their correct place then we can move forward with the vision of our new PM.They talk like insane people. Also Anupam is right in his saying but he is trying to enter politics i think or giving support to his wife to please her bosses.

You have right to protest. BUT Award is not a gift given by ruling government. Returning it is an insult of respective institutions and people NOT government.
What would have happened if Kalburgi wrote about superstitions in other religions?. Will some faithful not attack him? And after attack with Congress do intolerance march and return award? The answer is attack will be there and CONGRESS will have selective amnesia... The technique seems to be to put Modi on defensive all the time and divert him from doing good to people of India. Every one beware. The best advice CONGRESS can give to any writer is Please avoid writing about relgious beliefs(all religion included) as it affends some one .

U R right boss no writer or artist have right to say anything about any religion.But at the same time the Modi ministers should also shut their mouths else the good work of him will be derailed if at all any such work is done.Also he should take action against people who are on killing just based on doubt of eating some food.I also Request our PM Modiji to put a complete ban on beef all over India and end the matter completely.But he need to make some arrangements for the livelihood of the people associated with that profession as we are the second large exporter of Beef in the world.So stop double standards.

without being in POWER one cant take the decisions about Kashmiri Pandits. Even though BJP is in power there, it is in partnership with PDP. so they cant take any sole decision, but slowely they are helping out to solve the issue.
Just believe on Modi.... let him work for the country. We all have seen his hard work till date....
I am sure, he and his team wont take any harmful or shameful decisions about the country....
Just support Modi and dont get trapped in Congress net...
It is due to tight rules for black money, these so called leaders are crying, as their money flow has been stopped.....
