In last few weeks, we have seen that media, especially the English Language channels and newspaper are continuously harping about things like rising intolerance and making big issue out of some isolated incident which happened in UP and Karnataka. If you are foreign investor looking to set up some industry in india, you would certainly get scared looking at the evening English news shows ( NDTV, India Today etc) and morning English news paper ( Indian Express, TOI etc)
But on the ground we the common people of the country don’t see any such intolerance or hate creaming happening. We see that people of all castes, creeds and religions are going about that normal lives, without any obstruction from anybody. Since Modi government got elected, no change has been made to any laws related to social matters, Then why is the media manufacturing these stories of so called intolerance ? Why is the media laying the Blame at Modis doorstep for crimes that are taking place in states ruled by secular parties like Cong (Karnataka) and SP (UP) ? Why would channels and papers like NDTV, India Today, TOI, IE etc cause damage to the image of india just benefitting anti – modi parties like Cong, CPI (M) etc ? Here’
Thanks for a very well written article. Modi is going about his job with single minded determination. He is the only chance that we have presently, to see a prosperous India in the next decade. He can teach a thing or two about Change Management to any Harward/ Cambridge educated pseudo-intellectuals.
India is a divine nation not so called secular group or country. Time has been change all over world. All form of intolerance will crush by nature itself no need to make dirty our hands.BJP-LED-NDA will run the show till 2029 by modi itself. All form of intolerance propaganda, an artificial anti national propganda led by socalled intellectuals and secular will disapear by nature revange. There will remain Ntional pride. BJP should care and adopt develeopment agenda and dont care about dirty element they will finish. BJP also should not bother loss of two state Delhi and Bihar. Our media houses are sold out. Why the cases of Anmol Badukale & Prashant Pujari are not reported & debated.There can not be any difference between the human lives. An artificial, anti national propaganda is launched systematically !
Its very important to understand the big game being played. Why are these fake protests? How many of us do see r face it in our day to day life? To understand who benefit from this it is important to know who takes the hit. Loss for some one is a gain for some one else. If India's image is tarnished India is who has a set back. Petty minded politicians are not nationalistic and see easy money and whole game plane is made. No one sees long term consequences. All timed for winter session to make it wipe out and hault reforms to obstruct growth of India and not allow BHP to drive progress. Who looses??? We India's public. We need to stand for us else these politicians and media will always want us to see from their glasses and be a fish in pond at their mercy.
It is not intolerance that allows this but tolerance to tolerate nonsense which allows and gives this mob their power.
