Agree each sentence of the author in to to. They do not want true egalatarian society at all. These psuedo seculars should be countered with the equally high voice and should be exposed.

Expected From Gumaste
by Ajit Kamble on Nov 05, 2015 11:23 PM  | Hide replies

Ok, so BJP's strategy is clear. Yesterday saw a column from eternal sad1st Rajeev Srinivasan and today another gem from Gumaste. Whenever BJP is pushed against the wall, these two Gumastes jump in with their usual crraap, assuming that readers are owls and people need their columns to understand the situation.

The real issue is not that things are horr1bly wrong in the country. There are two serious issues right now - One, it's clearly evident that ministers and other people holding constitutional positions are deliberately making provocative statements and instigating H1ndu masses against Mus1ims and Chr1stians. This was never seen in the past, at least from people holding constitutional positions.

Two, anyone saying anything against the government is condemmned as an anti-national and asked to go to Pak1stan and what not. The point is that nobody has anything personal against Modi. The real problem is that if something is said against the government or even law and order situation, it is being taken as something against Modi. We are in such a pathetic state of affairs now.

Law and order situation!!!! whose prerogative is this.
In Assam, when the Muslims attacked the Bodo people did anybody ask Modi about law and order situation.
Be honest, when Maharashtra banned beaf, did you write anything in favour of tolerance and against the ban?

These discussions are not portrayed in right fashion. Let me give 2 examples to drive my point on difference in expectations to similar situation during UPA and NDA governance.

1. The famous "Zero loss coal block allocation" when Vinod Rai and CAG institution were openly abused by media, Kapil Sibbal, Digvijay Singh and in the Parliamentory committee (famed Joseph Chacko). Relate that to no NDA's response to NJAC - please view the open debate on Times Now.

2. Muzzafarnagar riots - Samajwady Party governing state (fails to handle the situation) and congress in center....no questions on either of them. Relate that to current Dadri situation when all blame is targeted on central govt.

List goes on and clearly shows the difference how the 2 central govts. have been treated and targeted.

What is curious is when somebody from congress speaks something against someone it is considered his individual thought and is avoided being treated as party thought/ideology and no questions asked to party bosses - either Sonia or Rahul.

But when some individual from BJP makes any comment, it is treated as party ideology and answer/reaction is asked from none other than PM - Narendran Modi. He is expected to make statements on each and every incident in this country. Is he a PM or a spokesperson?

But Modi speaks (mostly via Twitter) on anything and everything under the sun, even when Sania wins a doubles tennis match. Is human life less important than a tennis match?
