consider the facts
by srnvs san on Jun 03, 2015 08:35 PM

1. IITM merely withdrew the approval to use IIT’s name and logo on APSC publicity material. IITM didn’t ban the Ambedkar Periyar Study Circle (APSC).

2. In ‘Kerala Students Union vs Sojan Francis on 20 February, 2004’, the Kerala High Court held that “once students are admitted to an educational institution they are bound by the code of conduct laid down by the educational institutions through the prospectus or college calendar and it is implicit that they should observe the code of conduct necessary for the proper administration and management of the institution…wisdom of laying down those restrictions cannot be challenged by the student after getting admitted to the educational institution. The right to admission not being absolute there could be regulatory measures for ensuring educational standards and maintaining excellence in education.”

3. This pseudo Christian organization violated code of ethics of IITM.

4. You are in educational institute does not give you right to talk whatever you feel like.

5. Public is behind IIT-M management.

6. The so called student group has been using abusive language. If there is a disagreement there are ways and means to express it, abusive language is not the way to do it.

Tamilians are anti national
by luisbatista on Jun 01, 2015 10:26 AM

Tamilians are anti national. Now, they are becoming anti Hindu. Congress party wanted all industries to be setup in Tamilnadu. Now Tamilians believe they do not need any help from central govt. and therefore they chose to be anti nationals. You can observe that all media and NGOs that are opposing Modi are lead by Tamilians.

The words which spread hate must be banned to be used by any organisation. Reservation was purely on the basis of need and for deprived class, it was never a matter of right, but over the years-congress and other local parties made it a vote bank. We need correction urgently.

The de-recognition of a particular students group of IIT Madras is not fair and one needs to understand under what circumferences the principal acted. Now giving this incident to a community is nothing but pure vote bank politics. Too much of tolerance has been shown to that community even though they are at times on the wrong side of the law. This is nothing but politics

The IIT chairman

will soon be forced to explain what exactly were the violations made by the APSC that made him de-recognise the group !

He has so far evaded an answer to this question under the foolish impression that the student group would meekly submit to his order without asking for the reasons !

As for the HRD minister, she would be cursing the moment she decided to forward the anonymous complaint to the IIT and also cursing the IIT director for overdoing his brief. And many of her party colleagues would be aghast that a BJP minister has once again been caught on the wrong foot !

A comedy of errors indeed, with the party spokesmen now having to find more and more excuses for situations that could have been easily avoided !

BJP needs vote of Dalit and after election treats them as Dalit who do not deserve respect. Similarly Congress treats Muslim importnt at the time of election and then distances away and forgets all their love towards the community.

Both the political parties should be declared ungouchable by the affected group.
