Perhaps a few ancient monuments in Delhi can be World Heritage sites, but what is the great heritage involved in the Lutyens Bungalow zone ? It is just a set of colonial buildings with decent gardens and well- planned roads all around. The bungalows are not particularly artistic and are a monument mainly to the British concept of exclusive living, being perpetuated by all our politicians. While the greenery and old world status needs to be preserved, there is no great heritage embedded in this area of Delhi.
