Arun Shourie's Interview
by christo dan takri on May 05, 2015 01:37 AM

When you have high regard and respect to Mr. Arun Shourie for his transparency and talk why than you criticize his findings and comments? Are you Modiphobia or Indiaphobia? One has complete right to present his or her view anywhere and anytime and I hope Arun will come with right answer very soon.

Arun Shourie's statement
by Hitendra Singh on May 05, 2015 12:14 AM

Her is another case of a disgruntled politician who feels he has been denied his due place in the Sun-Cabinet berth..
Why cant such learned people who are considered elite of the nation behave rationally..
If he had marked his time showed patience he wud have been given a place in the sun..
Now by showing immaturity and impatience he has lost face and standing in the party..
When a Govt. runs many people at top get exposed as incompetent and are replaced..
This is the time for those waiting patientlly to get their due place in the sun..
Unfortunately 99% politicians are immature and in a hurry to get top post so get exposed and lose their place at the top on the party..
Unfotunate is also state of our politics 99% politicians do not have a base, have not risen from the ranks or step by step..
They are favourites of senior leaders and have been imposed on the district and state units..

Good article

First time read an article fully. Very well articulated. But,I somewhere see the thirst for power in Mr Shourie. These guys (Shourie, Ramjethmalani, etc) are the birds caught in the net and flying in different directions, whereas Modi needs the birds to fly in one direction - development. They are more of socialist thinking (which always fails). Good that they are out from power.

Very well countered Arun Shourie's critisim by Mr.Sudhir Bisht. The facts & logic given by the Author makes us aware of the facts & Mr.Shourie's grudge against Modi Govt. for not getting any Post. This type of person may be a renowned Journalist but can never be an independent & impartial journalist.

M Arun is an ungrateful & frustrated man who was hoping that NDA would again offer him a prime post in the ministry. His out burst is nothing but a vain attempt to remain relevant in political circle. Since Mr Bisht has very convincingly demolished all the flimsy arguments of Shouri, the best thing for him to do is to go back to his shell as before

I agree with what Mr. Bishat mentioned here above. I also have full respect to Mr. Shourie. I remember him from the time of when he was editor in Indian Express and used to read him anxiously especially Antulay episode. But I also feel he is hungry for remaining in lime light. He is honest and I also know him from disinvestment of number of things especially Hotel Centour in Mumbai. His mistake is he is trying to judge Modi government too early. He should have waited at least till BJP get majority in Rajya Sabha and then BJP decision and implementation of those decisions. I have only one negative impression about Modi's administration (which may be wrong) that he is more concentrated on economic agenda than law and order, feel peoples are less afraid of laws and there is no improvement observed in judiciary system. Legal cases still take such a long time that peoples like me don't want to go the any court or police for getting justice .
