World will pass with biggest threat of population explosion in another 50 years, if not controller, none of the leader in the world is trying to resolve it. But this will change the economy as well as governance of the world.
Obama won't be popular because of his approach to life, which is honest. That isn't to say others like Satyarthi and Modi aren't. Obama has led the US away from situations and made it a leader. For example, under a Clinton or a Bush, the Saudis and Iranians would have sat at home while US jets would be bombarding in Iraq and Yemen. Obama let the local leaders take the responsibility. Such an assessment may be too charitable and even not designed or thought that way by the Americans themselves.
What matters is the outcome under a leader. The leadership in new energy development, improving employment, universal medical care, unambiguous stance on a complicated topic like net neutrality, etc. are hallmarks of a leadership through thought..margdarshis
