Clever ploy
by vivek vadke on Mar 25, 2015 04:28 PM

Dear Shri. Firdaus,

I can understand your love for beef. But, to support your 'cause', you have tried to rope in the interests of 'poor dalits'. You know very well that their jobs are affected because the butchers have stopped the buffalow business too, just to pressurise the government. Once the buffalow business is resumed, as there is no ban, the workers will get back their jobs. The real losers are the big bull traders and meat exporters. But then, you are so clever, you neatly disguise your love for the big traders and esporters, to make it seem like love for the poor...!!

Goal is Important

Sometimes you need to make unpopular decisions to reach your goal - Lee Kuan Yew has been known to take extreme measures to deal with Singapore’s future, but he’s done so only in order to bring Singapore from troubled times to the thriving metropolis it is today. And while some of his actions remain questionable to many, he stands by his actions, because they were what it took to build a nation.

Nation building is a statesman\'s handiwork and is not only about taking unpopular decisions. The comment by Chitta related to Lee Kuan Yew is sacrilege, to say the least. He did\'nt and would\'nt get down to such petty issues such as curbing the fundamental freedom of people. This decision of BJP is a foolish one. They should reckon ground realities and retract. We voted them to do some development not to waste tax payers money by going after such looney objectives. If they continue with such things, they will be back to their India Shining days.
