The author of this article deserves all kudos for bringing out the truth .there are any number of facts in this article about which majority of our countrymen are ignorant. There are systematic attempts going on internationally to convert india into a "christian country"and reduce hindus into minorities in their own land.for this thousands of crores of foreign money flow into india.at the slightest pretext christian missionaries are able to raise a very big hue and cry with the help of the vast media net work they command in india.there are any number of christian tv net works in our country which are broadcasting evangelical programmes.it is high time the hindus realised the dangers to their way of living beliefs and relilgion.they have to b;e vigilant as otherwise they will be taken for a ride .this article serves a very useful purpose and bears the mask of the christian missionaries.Rediff deserves the greatful thanks of all the ciitzens especially the hidnus for allowing this article to appear.

I agree that there is a systematic and strategic effort to convert. But why don't we look at our vulnerabilities which make us open to poaching and try to resolve them. Why don't we have a central body which is representative and committed to secure our cultural, political and economic rights? This is very important in a democratic setup which rewards unity and distributes resources by numbers enjoyed by a community. Divided they will continue to lose power and hold on resources, ultimately facing the same fate as experienced by Kashmiri Pandits. All their properties are now being enjoyed by others while they live a life of refugee. It's time we openly discussed these issues n reached consensus.

It exists. It is called VHP. Only problem is their soft skills. They scream a lot. Real culprits evangelists use sugary language. These hapless VHP folks use foul language and easily get branded as thugs.
Our priority to teach soft skills to VHP. Ask them to communicate better.

Rediff is a useless forum. It deletes every thing which may do any good to Hindus.

What should be done
by RamRahim on Mar 20, 2015 08:45 PM  | Hide replies

Hindus need to do a reality check, a SWOT (Strengths, Weaknesses,Opportunities and Threats) analysis to understand the reasons which make them vulnerable to poaching. They need a representative a body at national level to debate and discuss the issues and reach a collective and democratic way. The self styled organizations claiming to represent them have no popular support. It's time they took issues seriously and got united or else democratic system of elections will put them at great disadvantage.

Yes, this needs to be done but also needs to understand the threat. We have only be inward looking for too long.

BTW, the RW evangelicals threaten all native communities across the world so it is hardly about Hinduism alone. They have already destroyed African traditions.
