When during his election campaign, Mr Modi relentlessly derided the then PM/CEC, holding Constitutional Offices, as most likely next PM of the country, he unwittingly set a trend that it is pass to denigrate anyone whom they perceive as holding opposite views. Using patently derogatory language against Constitutional Authorities without any qualms to uphold the dignity of all Constitutional Offices [President, CJI, LS/RS Speakers, PM and CMs included] became a common enough occurrence with BJP mouthpieces. Any conduct bringing these institutions into disrepute is an offence under Sec 504 IPC, punishable u/s 506 ibid as words used are “derogatory to the dignity of the person to whom they were addressed” [Ashokkumar Chunilal Lavariya vs State Of Gujarat – 1.11.2007] and are intended to “intentionally insult the person at a public place/forum” [Karnataka HC Bheema Rao vs Venkat Rao – 7.2.1964 & Andhra HC Karumanchi Veerangaiah vs Katta Mark And Ors. – 6.2.1976]. I had posted on this forum on May 09, 2014 that “Perhaps this portends what we have in store in near future!” With BJP’s scant respect for law of land much less the principles, it has indeed come true!
From next year, June 22 is to be observed as National Hateful Comment Day.
And shortly after that, that latter event is going to be observed every day.

With his grating voice, consistent inanities falling from his mouth, ignorance about protocols and precedences and above all, his stuxpid conviction that he can fool most commoners all the time with such patently despotic moves such as the land grab act, Narendra Modi in the PMs chair is a truly edifying reality for voters who thought they were escaping from corrupt regimes when they voted in the BJP (regardless of the narrow margin they gave it).

Thed whole of Modis cabinet has to apologies to Sri. Hamid Ansari for the way he was humiliated by their party General secretary Ram Madhav. who is only a party worker and nothing more in government.High time BJP top functionaries are taught how to behave and talk in public. Everytime talking and then apologising may not be good.
