Mr Madhav's criticism of the Vice President's absence is based on a non-sequitur. Attendance at a function like International Yoga Day is not a sign of lack of patriotism. Yoga is not India, though it is very much Indian. Nor is the Yoga Day a national occasion like the Independence Day or Republic Day. At best it is an awareness-raising exercise about a healthy physical practice. At worst, it is a covert attempt at garnering political support by making a show of championing a traditional Indian practice with religious overtones. In either case, it is not the sacred duty of every patriotic Indian to publicly participate in Yoga. Thus Mr Madhav's comments are thoroughly illogical.
Why there is so much hype of reason media & other society classes are given in favour of Vice-president.Just because of monority class he belongs.All these guys are in side of vice president want to good be in eye of so-called minority class.The question a leader has as for non-presence was of lack of knowledge which many indians are aware.
What is the meaning of largest minority? If large people are not convinced and targeting (on social media) then it is your duty is to defend/pacify. The rise of Hindu Mahasabha, Janasangha, Panther Party, Shiv sena and latter omnipotent BJP etc. is itself out of the difference in opinions with the Congress of those time. So you can not expect these parties to observe the principles nurtured by Congress. Now it is only hopelessly in your hand to think why Congress is reduced to size and had to survive in some Ghettoes. Post Sept 2001, London, Moscow, Paris, Mumbai, Geneva, Berlin attacks, if Islam is associated with violence and intolerance, you must be very cautious in blaming others.

good post, minorities are oppressed for ever and hindus are always at fault as if hindus owe these minorities to be fed well and taken care of.

Are you a member of Dalit-Muslim Ekata Mahasngha, founded by somebody Prof. Jogendra Kawade in Aurangabad (1992---) and the front was quickly accused of being funded by fugitive Dawood Ibrahim?

Not Dawood Ibrahim, but the present biggest fugitive of India-Lalit Modi, who has tonnes of black money, with which he buys politicians of the ruling party. He was one of the main fund providers for BJP in the Rajasthan Vidhan Sabha election in 2013.

how can one forget and why should one forget a deliberate and mischievous act with a malicious intent? I say teach BJP a lesson by routing them out in every forthcoming election for harboring a bigot like Ram Madhav
Not to invite VP IS mistake and wrong and if any legal action possible then go to court and give punishment but do not mix it with color of hindu and muslim it is also more wrong than that .
